Donna Kelce Does NOT Want to Sit in ‘Pricey’ Suite at Super Bowl 2024 with Taylor Swift
Donna Kelce believes that she’ll likely be cheering on her son from the stands during this weekend’s Super Bowl.
“You can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multimillion dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box,” Travis Kelce’s mother said during a Wednesday morning appearance on the “Today” show.
She explained — “I have a feeling I’m in the stands, so far as I know I’m in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”
The 71-year-old dodged the question when host, Hoda Kotb, asked if she would be sitting with her son’s superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Donna did chat about changing her Facebook banner to a festive post-game pic that included the pop star, captured after the Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC Championship.
“That was a picture where all of us were so excited that were in the suite, and we were so excited that they made it to the Super Bowl that we just took a shot of everybody that was there,” Donna explained, adding that “it wasn’t anything calculating or anything like that.”
“It was just everybody that was supporting my son, and I was so happy to put that picture on Facebook, yes… I’ve got a few [selfies with Taylor] here and there,” she shared.
While it remains unclear where Donna, other family members, and/or love interests will sit for this weekend’s big game, Christian McCaffrey’s fiancée, Olivia Culpo, reportedly tried to purchase a box after the San Francisco 49ers running back’s mom claimed that the pair couldn’t afford it.
“Not even Christian, money bags over there — nor money bags Olivia [can afford a suite],” Lisa quipped during an episode of her podcast.
On Monday, Christian shut down his fiancée’s effort, telling Extra at the Super Bowl LVIII Opening Night event—“She tried to but I will not let anybody pay to watch me play. I had to nix that.”
Lisa revealed that she was able to “negotiate” a reserved area along with eight tickets to watch the 49ers battle the Chiefs.
She explained — “Long story short, they are outrageously expensive … I don’t know if it’s the Taylor Swift factor, I don’t know if it’s the first time in Vegas factor, there is just so much going on.”
