90 Day Fiance: Current Status of Chantel Everett and Giannis’ Relationship

Chantel Everett has been on the hunt for love again after TLC series, The Family Chantel, documented the crash and burn of her six year marriage to Pedro Jimeno. 

Chantel’s quest to get her groove back during a trip to Greece has been an ongoing storyline on the fourth season of 90 Day: The Single Life. Monday’s episode featured steamy make-out sessions between Chantel and a Greek man named Giannis, but the 90 Day Fiancé alum knew little about him.   

Chantel first met at a club, where she learned that he was a professional soccer player who had recently returned from a three year stint in London. 

Chantel told him — “You must be really good,” to which he replied, “To be honest, yeah.”

Giannis revealed that he’d never been married, and appeared unfazed when Chantel told him that she had recently divorced. 

Chantel remarked during a previous episode — “I don’t know if it’s just a Greek thing or a him thing to be so understanding, but I see it as a positive and I want to see where this can go.”

Chantel told cameras that it felt “powerful” to be pursuing a potential love connection, but admitted that there were probably “red flags” yet to be discovered. 

She said — “So I’m going to trust myself and this process of finding new love again.”

Chantel, along with her trio of friends, later traveled four hours to meet Giannis in his hometown. The duo went out to dinner, where they discussed topics such as Greek history. Giannis confirmed that he’d consider relocating to the United States, during an exchange about living life abroad. Chantel declared the date a success, but did not invite Giannis back to her room, out of caution. 

During the most recent episode, the duo discussed their personal hopes for the future, and agreed that they both wanted to settle down and have children. Giannis later asked Chantel what “went wrong” in her marriage, and she explained that Pedro’s family never liked her and ultimately interfered in their marriage because they “wanted to use [her] for citizenship.”

Chantel declared — “So, my ideal guy would be an orphan,” which clearly  concerned Giannis. He shared that his family was important to him, but assured Chantel that they would not insert themselves into their relationship.  

It does not appear that Chantel and Giannis went the distance, as there is no mention of the athlete on the nurse’s Instagram page. She is currently living in Atlanta and recently got a job at SSA Beauty Bar in Sandy Springs, Georgia, as a nurse injector. Chantel does not follow Giannis on social media, which seemingly points to a brief vacation fling, not a happily ever after.  

90 Day: The Single Life airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET on TLC.
