‘Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Desperately CHASED Her New Boyfriend Amos Andrews and His FOUR Failed Marriages Exposed!

Meri Brown sparked lots of fan chatter when she went public with new boyfriend, Amos Andrews. Amos entered his relationship with the Sister Wives star with plenty of experience in the love department, as the 55-year-old has four failed marriages in his past. 

Amos was first married to Tracey Smith Lang, whom he divorced in 1998, per online records. His second marriage to Shannon Marie Martin was short-lived, as the pair divorced in 2000. He divorced third wife, Christine Andrews, in 2004. Amos’ fourth marriage to Jennifer Carol Andrews lasted five years, from 2016-2021. 

Meri took to Instagram last week to introduce her new beau to fans and followers, one year after confirming her split from Kody Brown, in January 2023. 

She captioned  series of couple photos — “Birthday #53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks! Meet Amos, the good looking guy I’ve been dating since October! He’s not 6 foot 6, nor is he a pilot, but he loves Christmas almost as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both of which are important elements to a relationship!” 

Meri added that she intentionally kept the budding romance under the radar as the pair got to know each other. 

The TLC star shared — “As I’ve considered when and how I wanted to share this fun news and share him with the world (jk, not really sharing, I’m keeping him to myself) I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special way and let you celebrate this with me! I feel like I’m getting this year off to a great start, and I can’t wait to share more with you as the year moves forward!”

Amos confessed that Meri’s public persona and past plural marriage had initially made him uneasy.  

Amos joined Meri during the January 19 episode of the reality star’s “Fridays With Friends” on Instagram, where he opened up about the beginning phase of the couple’s relationship.

Meri’s friend, Jen Sullivan, asked Amos — “Can you tell me if Meri being an ex-polygamist in the public eye on a television show raised any red flags?” 

Amos admitted — “Yes. Yes it was a little.”

Meri, 53, explained that his concern appeared to be more about her public lifestyle than her past role as a plural wife.

“I think it was the second time we talked [that I told him],” Meri explained. “He was like, ‘Yeah, I’m a really private person.’ I’m like, ‘Really?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah. I’m not on social media. I’m a really private person. I don’t let a lot of people into my life.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, so how private are you really?’”

Amos also confirmed that he had been married multiple times and had a bankruptcy in his past. Meri only shrugged off her new boyfriend’s dicey  personal history.

“What?!” she joked. “I sort of have three ex-sister wives and an ex-husband. I beat you.”

Meri also revealed that she had made the first move and “pursued” Amos. 

“The first night that we went out, he hugged me, and honestly, it was the best hug,” she shared. “I just stood there and just let him keep hugging me. It was just a really very, very safe hug. We’re happy and we like each other a lot. A lot.”
