Shannon Beador is upset that her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, has happily moved on with former OC “Housewife,” Alexis Bellino.
Sources told Radar Online that the Real Housewives of Orange County star is distressed that John’s romance with Alexis appears to be on a fast-track.
One insider told the outlet—”She’s sad.”
Another tipster claimed that many within Shannon’s friend group aren’t buying that John purchased a $16k ring as a Christmas gift for Alexis, after dating for only a month.
“Shannon said he didn’t pay for s—,” the snitch noted when asked about the promise ring he supposedly gifted the RHOC alum.
John and Alexis were first spotted together in November, only a couple of months after he supported Shannon following her September DUI arrest.
John and Alexis went public with their romance only weeks later. Last month, Alexis gushed over her pricey ring on Instagram and dropped the L-bomb while thanking her new beau.
Alexis captioned the photo of the ring — “Words cannot. Actions do. I will no longer feel guilty. I will not apologize. Love will create it’s own story. I love you Johnny J.”
She also tagged prestigious French jewelry house, Van Cleef & Arpels.
The 18-carat band covered in diamond encrusted clovers is reportedly a Perlée Clovers ring, priced at $16,300.
Shannon’s friends supposedly don’t believe that the ring was actually purchased by John, and have expressed doubts that the pair’s romance is even real. Shannon and John broke up in November 2022.
One source called the relationship “fake,” adding that there’s “no way” that Alexis would go for a guy like John.
Last month, another insider claimed that John was a “clout chaser,” backing up RHOC cast members who often told Shannon that her boyfriend was only interested in the cameras.
A source initially dished that Shannon would be “furious” if John and Alexis started dating, but it appears that the Bravo star is more “sad” and “confused” over the situation.
Sources close to the reality star claimed that Shannon and John were “definitely dating” when she was busted for the September DUI. The same insiders alleged that John’s neighbors heard the pair “loudly arguing” on the night of Shannon’s arrest.
In November, Shannon said that she had not communicated with her ex in over a month.
The unexpected romance comes amid rumors that Alexis could return for the upcoming 18th season of the Bravo series, which begins production this month. Alexis was a main RHOC cast member from Season 5 through Season 8, before leaving the show in 2013. Shannon joined the Bravo series in 2014, and has not interacted with Alexis on camera.
RHOC cast member, Emily Simpson, is on board with Alexis returning to the series to rattle her co-star.
“I want to see that! That is good TV,” the 47-year-old told Page Six last month. “I’m sorry, but bring Alexis back and let Shannon spiral out of control.”
