‘Golden Bachelor’ Stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist FIGHTING Over Prenup Before Big TV Wedding!
Golden Bachelor star, Gerry Turner’s romance with future wife, Theresa Nist, has reportedly hit some bumps amid the couple’s ongoing wedding plans.
Nist’s friends are raising red flags and advising her to “think twice” before tying the knot with Turner, according to a the National Enquirer report.
Nist has purportedly ignored the advice of her pals as her plan to marry Turner in a televised wedding remains intact. The nuptials are slated to air on January 4 on ABC.
Turner and Nist previously shared that the ceremony will be family oriented, as both have daughters “who are so involved” in the planning process.
An insider claimed that before their engagement was announced, the couple was clashing over a potential prenuptial agreement.
“[Theresa] wants a prenup,” a snitch told the outlet. ”He’s offended that she doesn’t trust him. They’re bickering all the time now — unless the cameras are on.”
The tipster added — “She wants to stick it out, though her friends think it’s for the wrong reasons.”
Turner was previously accused of hiding an ex girlfriend after claiming that he hadn’t dated since the 2017 death of his wife.
He was forced to address the allegation after “The Hollywood Reporter” dug up the alleged plot twist in an exposé. A woman named Carolyn claimed that she had dated Turner for ten months before they decided to live together for a year and nine months. She alleged that their romance began shortly after the death of his wife. The woman claimed that the two cut ties after he supposedly took back an invitation to his high school reunion, in October 2019. Turner allegedly cited her weight gain as the reason for the snub. The article also pointed out that while the show portrayed him as a retired restaurateur, he actually worked as a handyman after selling his drive-in eatery in 1985.
Turner responded to the report, commenting — “I guess I would say this: I dated a number of women, but then it becomes an issue of how you define whether you’re in a relationship.”
He also denied that his relationship with Carolyn lasted a few years.
Regarding his career, he stated — “The business I owned was very much like the Cadillac Diner that Theresa and I went to on the very first date. I sold burgers and fries and shakes, and it was a very profitable business. And the comments about what I did later in life, I did those after I retired.”
Turner added — “I mean, jeez, I didn’t work as a handyman for the money. I did it because I knew I was doing something good for people who needed help.”
The Golden Bachelor followed Turner as he searched for love following the 2017 death of the 72-year-old’s wife.
