Kim Zolciak Breaks Her Silence on Kroy Biermann’s Cheating Allegations
Kim Zolciak has responded to the recently released police body cam footage capturing her explosive altercation with estranged husband Kroy Biermann. In her statement, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star addressed Kroy’s allegations of cheating.
“The comments made in the body cam footage from Kroy, who is obviously enraged, are untrue. I vehemently deny any allegation that I have been unfaithful to Kroy at any point in our 12-year marriage.” Kim Zolciak, 45, told Celebuzz. “Any claim to the contrary is downright false, baseless, and slanderous. I have tried not to speak on these hurtful allegations, but I am at a breaking point with this, and I will not stay silent while my character is being assassinated.”
The bodycam footage was recorded during a November 20 altercation after one of Kim and Kroy’s children called the police about a, “verbal domestic disturbance,” according to a police report. During the confrontation, Kroy, 38, expressed his frustration, exclaiming, “It’s nothing but an act. It’s all bulls–t. Everything she does. There’s no money, there’s no house. We’re getting divorced one day and not the next.”
The couple’s relationship has experienced numerous ups and downs over the past few months. Kroy initially filed for divorce in May, but the paperwork was dismissed. He subsequently filed for divorce again in August, seeking sole legal and physical custody of their four minor children: KJ (12), Kash (11), and twins Kaia and Kane (10). Kim responded by requesting primary physical custody and joint legal custody in her October response.
Despite their apparent separation, Kim and Kroy celebrated their 12-year wedding anniversary on November 11. Kim also reinstated Kroy’s last name on her Instagram account following their anniversary dinner.
In the body cam footage obtained from the November 20 altercation, Kim told a police officer, “I just want to get divorced,” and expressed her desire for the ordeal to be over. She claimed that Kroy had prevented her from leaving that morning by jumping in front of her car and blocking her path.
During the incident, Kroy was described as “verbally combative” by an officer on the scene. The footage captured him yelling, “Calm down when I don’t have a f–king life? I don’t have someone who will f–king listen to me! Oh, calm down? You wanna live this, motherf–ker? You wouldn’t have lasted a year. You wouldn’t have lasted a day in this f–king house!”
The police report noted that the couple’s children were interviewed at the scene. One child mentioned that Kim and Kroy were “arguing and yelling at each other” and suggested that Kroy might have physically engaged with Kim during the argument. However, the other children insisted that the argument remained verbal and did not escalate into physical violence.
