‘RHOP’ RECAP: Robyn is Pushed to Her Breaking Point By Karen!

Welcome to a new episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. The ladies are in Austin, Texas as Nneka Ihim and Dr. Wendy Osefo go head-to-head by the pool. Nneka wants to make it clear that Wendy does know her in-law, Lebe and Mama Sharon submits names to shrines.

Gizelle Bryant’s under the impression that she doesn’t know Lebe but Wendy brushes Lebe off as Ivy’s friend. Ashley Darby isn’t letting this go so easily and wonders in her confessional why Wendy’s lying. Ashley’s stuck on the gele, but Wendy verifies she only gave Lebe one because of Ivy, while also shading Gizelle in the same breath. Nneka continues questioning why Lebe was around, and Wendy throws out a nasty accusation. 

“Where you there? Or where you still in LA smoking crack?” Wendy says as the rest of the ladies look on in horror. Wendy’s loving her comment as Nneka tries to defend herself while seeing Wendy deflect from the situation. Gizelle says “no one smokes crack anymore,” as producers ask Wendy if she has a crack receipt. She doesn’t but eludes to the fact that Nneka looks like a crackhead. SMH!

Gizelle mentions the ladies shouldn’t throw out accusations that aren’t true as Karen Huger tries to settle the group down. The ladies begin dancing by the pool in an effort to let the drama go. Candiace Dillard-Bassett checks on Nneka to make sure she’s okay but before the two can talk, Wendy steps in to asks Candiace not to discuss her with Nneka. 

Candiace agrees and soon the ladies jet off to their room to get ready for dinner. The ladies look beautiful as they head to dinner and soon Gizelle tells Nneka that Wendy should apologize for her actions. Nneka doesn’t believe Wendy will apologize because that would indicate Wendy knew of the shrine, but Nneka claims she’ll accept a simple “I didn’t know” from Wendy because “mama’s be crazy.” Candiace checks in on Wendy and tells her there’s a chance for her and Nneka to see eye to eye but Wendy’s over it and doesn’t think there’s anything to salvage. 

The ladies get seated at the restaurant and soon order before diving into the next conversation. Gizelle’s turns on her flashlight to check out the menu and jokes with Karen about her entrée choice, before Wendy asks the table who swallows. Robyn Dixon raises her hand as the ladies shutter in disgust.

Robyn says she’s very good at it as Candiace and the rest of the girls question Robyn’s abilities. Mia Thornton stopped swallowing once she got married and Karen wants to move past this situation. Candiace would rather be peed on than to swallow and Wendy questions the amount of water men drink. Karen’s checking out of the conversation as the ladies continue bonding over sex. 

The food comes out as Ashley tells the table she waits until the man falls asleep to dump his children out and I am done. Mia asks Robyn if she licks bootyhole and thankfully Robyn has stayed away from the dark spot. Mia admits she has before, and Gizelle asks Karen if she still puts Ray Huger’s balls in his mouth. Karen isn’t afraid to try something new and tells the ladies she’s proud of them for having such a decent dinner. Nneka thanks the ladies for inviting her and tells the ladies about her and Iyke’s journey to pregnancy. Nneka and Candiace begin bonding over their fertility experiences as Robyn invites all the ladies back to her room for a night cap. Mia toots while getting in the car and the ladies almost kick her out. 

In Robyn’s suite, the ladies are amazed by Robyn’s accommodations and Mia drunkly plays on the piano as Karen and Gizelle make their exit to go to bed. The ladies roam Robyn’s room tipsy and Candiace slides on Robyn’s slippers like the two are best friends. Robyn hasn’t forgotten about Candiace dragging her online and wonders why Candiace is even in her room right now. Wendy and Candiace are turning up as Nneka stands by quietly as Robyn encourages Candiace to swallow for Chris. Wendy leaves and as Candiace gathers her things, she tells Robyn that she’d like to talk tomorrow. Robyn agrees as Candiace leaves promising to bring Robyn’s slippers back and Nneka exits soon after.

The next day, the ladies are waking up as Nneka calls Iyke to chat before he heads to work. Nneka explains her day and Iyke laughs at Wendy’s accusation that Nneka’s a crackhead. Iyke tells Nneka to ignore her as Gizelle and Robyn arrive in Ashely’s room. Gizelle loves Ashley’s breakfast spread and everyone gets a plate before Gizelle apologizes to Robyn for leaving her in the room with Candiace and Wendy. Ashley thought it was odd that Candiace was in her room and Robyn doesn’t understand Candiace’s anger but before they could get into it, the rest of the ladies show up interrupting the conversation. As the ladies get comfortable, Ashley explains she wants the ladies to comment to their femininity and to get reacquainted with their vaginas. 

Ashley wants the women to paint their vaginas and wonders why they’re being so bashful now. Karen’s not comfortable but Ashley tells the women they don’t have to be literal and can paint a rose. Candiace shades the girls by claiming some of them need to be painting roast beef. After Ashley instructs the ladies, Karen focuses on Robyn and how she selectively speaks to one pocket of the group and now the group is divided.

Karen asks Robyn directly how she’s doing but Robyn doesn’t answer and instead claims she only talks to those who reached out to her. Candiace reveals she reached out to Robyn, but Robyn ignored her. Robyn begins getting defensive and tells Candiace she went through torture last year.

Candiace response “So have I” as Robyn questions “At my expense?” as Karen jumps in to tell Robyn that her hiding her truth caused issues for everyone. Robyn mentions not even telling her mama what happened and questions why the ladies would assume she’d tell them. Karen tells Robyn to hold herself accountable and Robyn stands up saying “What do yall wanna do? Beat me up? I’m here, hold me accountable” as she waves her arms around. Karen wants Robyn to hold herself accountable and tells the room that Robyn lied the entire year. Karen begins making fun of Robyn in her confessional and even has a cult-like bonnet for Robyn to have . 

Robyn asks the ladies if they could stop bringing her situation up, because it’s personal but Karen doesn’t back down while telling Robyn she dragged everyone into her business. Karen mentions the paywall Robyn and Gizelle put up for the truth and Mia’s dumb self says “Just buy it” as Robyn asks Karen what her situation has to do with her. Everyone’s talking at once and Robyn begins screaming while asking the room if she can talk. Wendy asks Robyn why the girls never saw her confide in Gizelle and Robyn’s happy to throw Juan Dixon’s alleged mistress under the bus. Robyn admits the lady DM’d her and Gizelle tells the room just because they didn’t see or hear about the conversation, doesn’t mean a conversation wasn’t had. 

Karen calls bullsh** as Ashley just want to paint some pussies. Candiace asks Robyn about the DM’s between Juan and the other woman, but surprise, Robyn says Juan deleted them all and she never read them. “Oh girl,” Wendy says as the rest of the ladies remain quiet. In Robyn’s defense, Gizelle understands that Robyn may trust Juan but admits that wouldn’t be her and she’d be looking all through them messages.

Ashely thanks Robyn for her honesty and have the ladies pick out a hat for their next activity. Once everyone picks have the ladies are going to the distillery, while the other half go boot shopping. The ladies are getting dressed for the day as Karen chats with her event planner Robin as she plans her next event through her organization. Karen’s been a victim advocate for years and is excited to empower more women who have survived sexual assault. 

The ladies meet in the lobby and are looking festive as they hit the road! Ashely asks Robyn if she’s okay and Robyn’s upset the ladies took her situation personally as Candiace asks Karen if she got all she needed from Robyn. Karen responds that she doesn’t feel like Robyn can give anymore and I agree. Karen knows Robyn loves Juan and Wendy’s done with the entire situation. She doesn’t care if Juan cheats on Robyn or not and the conversation ends there as the ladies arrive at their destination. As Ashley’s group gets to shopping, Karen’s group look around the distillery before learning about the whiskey. Candiace and Wendy cheers with 150 proof gin as Ashley’s group get to know Nneka more. 

Nneka tells Gizelle, Robyn, and Ashley about her disastrous wedding and that they’ll recreate a traditional Nigerian wedding after they have their first child. Gizelle and Robyn asks Nneka if they’ve scared her away yet and soon the crew begin discussing Robyn’s transparency. Nneka feels that Robyn’s been honest with her and doesn’t understand the big deal. Gizelle feels like the ladies made Robyn’s issues about them and calls them disgusting as Karen’s group continues to drink. A crow’s up in the tree and Wendy’s immediately on edge as we get a flashback to Monique Samuels house when her bird attacked Wendy on S5. Mia asks Wendy “That’s not your mama is it?” as Karen and Candiace await Wendy’s reaction. 

“Don’t do that” Wendy says as Mia laughs and tells Wendy she’s kidding, and Wendy asks Mia to leave the mama’s out of it. Mia wants Wendy to clear things up and Wendy feels like she shouldn’t have to defend herself. Wendy educates the ladies on the different shrines in religion and admits the conversation is very triggering for her. Wendy begins getting emotional as she tells the ladies about her upbringing with a single mother. Wendy cries as she tells the table she won’t be friends with someone who attacked her mother. Mia tells Wendy she respects her and wants to move forward, so she won’t bring the conversation up again. Both group of ladies finish up their adventure and head to lunch to meet the other ladies. 

Once everyone arrives, the ladies share their day before ordering drinks and food for the table. Nneka begins sharing about her wedding as Wendy sits quietly at the end. Nneka wants to get married on her dad’s compound and begins talking about people buying titles and Karen’s ears perk up. Karen wants to know more, and the ladies explain buying titles like people buy the verification check on Twitter.

Robyn tells everyone that Mia and Karen bought their check and Karen gets defensive and tells Robyn “Maybe they like me more than they like you” and Wendy had to step in to clarify the truth. Then, Karen gets up to asks Wendy for help and Wendy reads Karen’s Twitter profile, and we find out Karen’s subscribed to Twitter Blue and pays $11.99 a month. 

Karen pretends she doesn’t know how that happened and blames Apple Pay for the mistake. Ashley tells the group what the next activity will be, and chickens are involved. Karen’s already turned off and wonders where Ashley gets these ideas from. Mia tells Ashley she’s trying to get her a man and Ashley verifies she’s still trying to divorce Michael Darby. Ashley explains the two are discussing custody of their kids and Ashley admits Michael wants more time with the kids. Candiace questions whether Ashley filed for divorce and wonders why she hasn’t ran from Michael yet. Mia then brings up the lawsuit Michael’s filing against Candiace and the room goes silent. Candiace isn’t speaking about the lawsuit in the group and Robyn asks if the group can create a list of topics that are off limits. 

Candiace tells Robyn to be dense another day and the sh*t is about to hit the fan. Candiace clarifies that it’s a legal matter and that Robyn went against that when she discussed Juan’s legal trouble at last years reunion. Candiace doesn’t know if that’s helped her and soon Robyn defends Juan again while Wendy tries to educate the group on Title nine. Wendy questions Robyn’s naivety as Robyn continues defending her man. Ashely then direct the ladies back to the hotel so they can change before heading to the next spot. Candiace doesn’t understand Robyn’s energy but decides to give her space. Gizelle’s chatting with Jason by the pool as the rest of the ladies get dressed. 

It’s time for chicken sh** bingo and the ladies look beautiful as they head to the next spot. Gizelle’s excited to see if real chicken will be there as Mia wonders the same before giving Robyn and Candiace props for sitting next to each other in the car. Mia and Wendy wonders if they feel differently since this morning but Robyn’s not interested in having a conversation. Candiace doubles down that she didn’t think Robyn speaking on Juan’s legal troubles was smart, while telling Robyn she doesn’t believe her speaking up helped. Robyn begins crying and tells Candiace this is the worst part of everything they’ve been going through. Robyn tells the ladies they don’t know what they’re talking about and that they’re turning her into a villain. Candiace tries to console Robyn and we’re hit with the: To Be Continued.
