Mauricio Umansky Ready for Divorce After Kyle Richards Flaunted Her Lesbian Side Chick on ‘RHOBH’
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umanksy want to call it quits on their marriage as their separation has taken a dark turn, according to a new report.
Mauricio claimed in October that he and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star were not “throwing in the towel” on their 27-year marriage, but it now appears that their relationship is on its last legs.
“They don’t want to be married anymore,” a source told Life & Style of the real estate mogul and the Bravo star.
Mauricio and Kyle have presented a united front for their family, but the insider claimed that they’re both ready to move on.
“They agreed to separate with the best of intentions, but things have turned ugly,” the tipster added.
The duo’s estranged relationship hit a bump after Mauricio was spotted holding hands with his “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Emma Slater.
“Kyle is still stewing over it,” the tipster said. “He’s already acting like the most eligible bachelor in town.”
Meanwhile, Kyle and her constant sidekick, Morgan Wade, have been sparking romance rumors for months.
Kyle, 53, and Mauricio, 54, have no prenuptial agreement, which has prompted “a lot of fear over how to divide their $100 million fortune and real estate holdings,” according to the outlet’s source.
The insider added — “But they both want to move on.”
Kyle revealed in a November 29 interview with “The Messenger” that she planned to spend Christmas with the “Buying Beverly Hills” star at their Aspen vacation home. The reality star added that she hoped to have a “pre-Christmas” celebration with her sisters, Kathy Hilton, 64, and Kim Richards, 59.
Kyle also spoke about the pair spending Thanksgiving together at home, in Encino, California.
“We live under the same roof, and [Mauricio] and I have never been a couple that fights,” she explained. “And that’s not — I’m not just saying that. If you ask my kids [they] have never seen a fight between us ever. So you know it wasn’t. We had our close couple of friends there. And, you know, it was sort of just a normal Thanksgiving, actually.”
When Kyle was asked for an update on where the duo stands today, she admitted — “We’re still in the same place. We’re just, you know, living under the same roof. It’s certainly not a position I ever imagined myself to be in, you know, after being married all these years.”
Kyle and Mauricio wed in January 1996 and share three daughters, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Kyle is also mom to Farrah Aldjufrie, 34.
“I love him very much, obviously,” Kyle said. “So that part is obviously difficult, but I think people do think it’s probably strange, I guess. I don’t know. I think people think it’s not even true that we’re going through a hard time. I don’t understand that. I don’t know that I can imagine anybody that would put their family through anything like that.”
“We were watching movies last night with the girls,” Kyle shared. “And so I’m just grateful that we’re as good of friends as we are. And we can navigate through this difficult time the way we are. It’s been a challenging year and a half.”
Kyle told TMZ earlier this week — “We’re just taking everything a day at a time.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays, at 8 pm ET, on Bravo.
