Phaedra Parks Claims Brandi Glanville DID NOT R*PE Caroline Manzo, Claims It Was Consensual

Controversy seemingly sidelined the airing of Season 5 of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, after Brandi Glanville was accused of stepping out of line with co-star, Caroline Manzo.

Phaedra Parks defended Brandi at BravoCon on Saturday, November 4, in comments to Us Weekly.

“Absolutely nothing [happened],” the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 50, told the outlet when asked about the alleged interaction. “So, let’s roll the tapes! I was there and honey, I was sober. Sober, sober. I really don’t drink, so I saw it all.”

In late January, sources told People that the RHUGT cast was filming in Marrakech, Morocco, when  Brandi, 50, crossed a line with “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum, Caroline Manzo, 61, during a party. The controversial mom of two reportedly kissed her co-star multiple times without her consent, during the filmed bash.

“It was unwanted,” a snitch told the outlet. “And Caroline’s distress over the matter did not seem to stop Brandi. Things escalated and physical boundaries allegedly were crossed that Caroline Manzo felt were serious and uncomfortable.”

In March, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum claimed that both she and Caroline were “very intoxicated” at the time of the incident.

“I can speak on anything I want to speak on,” Brandi wrote on Twitter. “It was at the end of an 18 hour [work] day at our belly dancing party & I’d like to see footage on it. … “I’m f–king sick of this narrative. I was hired for a 2nd season of girls trip cuz they LOVED what I did on 1st season I was told to bring the party just like before & that’s exactly what I did & I was punished for it. It feels like a f–king set up. It’s BS & Caroline was fine.”

Caroline later spoke out about the episode during an April appearance on the “Two Ts In a Pod” podcast. She told hosts, Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp, that the ordeal was “very traumatic” but did not share specific details.

Phaedra’s description of the incident did not align with Brandi or Caroline’s version of events.

“It was a Harlequin romance. Love was winning,” the “Married to Medicine” star said. “I’m excited that you all will get to see it, because you need to see it for yourself — because it’s definitely been way exaggerated.”

While some fans have predicted that Bravo will toss the entire season, Phaedra believes that Season 5 will air.

“Hopefully, we will see it at the top of the year,” she said.

Andy Cohen appeared to agree during Friday’s “Ask Andy” BravoCon panel discussion.

The Morocco “Housewives” adventure was slated to air as Season 4, but the network recently confirmed that the “RHONY Legacy” cast getaway will air first.

The upcoming season, which will feature “Real Housewives of New York City” alums, Luann de Lesseps, Kristen Taekman, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley, premieres on Thursday, December 14 on Peacock.
