Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards are Leaning On Each Other During Their Marital Breakups! 

Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards are supporting each other as the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars endure upheavals in their respective marriages. 

“As far as Kyle and I going through issues in our marriage at the same time, which is rather bizarre, we have been very supportive to one another,” Dorit told People.

The 47-year-old said—“She’s a very supportive friend and I’m a very supportive friend. She lives close to me, so it’s been nice to have her.”

Dorit acknowledged the “not nice circumstances,” before sharing that it had been “really nice” to have a “friend that can understand and that you can lean on and talk to” in difficult times. 

Last month, Dorit and husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, 56, denied a rumor  that they had separated and were living apart. The couple addressed the speculation in a joint statement to People.

“We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family,” the pair said. “We have not separated nor are we planning to do so. Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage.”

They continued — “We would be grateful for everyone’s understanding,” the couple continued. We are doing what we can to focus on the best interests of our family, as opposed to spending our time contending with rumors and hearsay that are not true.”

Dorit called out co-star, Erika Jayne, during the Season 13 premiere for predicting her marital demise during last year’s BravoCon event.  

“To see you behave like that was deeply hurtful,” Dorit told Erika. “What you said about PK and I was mean-spirited.”

Erika apologized before asking her co-star — “Dorit, is your marriage strong?”

Dorit replied — “My marriage is very strong.”

Dorit addressed the rough stretch in her marriage last week, during an appearance on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. 

“The last couple of years, post-home invasion, have been very difficult for me,” the reality star shared, referring to the October 2021 break-in at the couple’s Encino, California home. 

“There’s no area of your life that it doesn’t touch,” Dorit continued. “And my husband, who travels for work and he was traveling the most that year … was the year that I needed him the most.”

She added — “It definitely took a toll and we had our challenges.”

Dorit admitted that the duo felt “disconnected” but were not “heading to divorce court.”

Dorit and PK share two children together, son, Jagger, 9, and daughter,  Phoenix, 7. 

In July, news broke that Kyle Richards had separated from her husband of 26 years, Mauricio Umanksy. The estranged couple denied that they were headed for divorce, only fessing up to enduring a “rough year.”

Kyle revealed that she was the one who initiated the separation during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

“[The split] originated from me,” she admitted, last month. 

Kyle and Mauricio wed in January 1996 and share three daughters, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Kyle is also mom to Farrah Aldjufrie, 34. 

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays, at 8 pm ET, on Bravo.
