‘Sister Wives’ Meri Brown SHUT OUT from Christine’s Wedding Amid Feud Yet Her Transgender Daughter Shows Up!

Christine Brown’s new husband, David Woolley, took a subtle shot at his bride’s ex, Kody Brown, during the couple’s picturesque Utah wedding.

The Sister Wives star tied the knot with the Utah construction executive at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah over the weekend. Christine, 51, and David, 59, dated for only a few months before getting engaged in April. The couple began dating in the fall of 2022 and went public with their romance the following February.

David reminded guests during the ceremony that he immediately knew that Christine was the one after connecting with the mom of six on a dating site.  

He jabbed at the TLC patriarch during a speech, commenting — “I’m really very lucky, and very happy that someone let her go, because she’s a unicorn,” per a People report. 

Fans were quick to pick up on David’s pointed shade and had plenty to say about it. 

One person said — “I like his quote about being lucky someone let her go.”

Another cosigned — “Yes I appreciated the shade there.”

A third chimed in to point out that David had twisted the facts, writing — “He is being too generous here. Kody would have NEVER let Christine go. SHE left HIM.” 

Lots of viewers gushed over the blushing bride after photos were released of fairy tale event.   

One fan wrote — “Omg so gorgeous!!! I love this glow up and I couldn’t be happier for her to experience being someone’s number 1 with no (k)onditions attached.”

Another user said — “Christine looks beautiful. Happy and glowing. She deserves this after the first wedding and that awful gown that made her feel less than.”

Kody and Christine announced their breakup in November 2021, after a 25 year spiritual marriage. The reality star relocated from Flagstaff, Arizona to Salt Lake City, Utah after the split. 

Christine and Kody share six children together, Aspyn, 28, Paedon, 25, Gwendlyn, 21, Ysabel, 20, and 13-year-old Truely. David, a widower, has eight children, Adam, Colton, Garrett, Kati, Dallas, Raegan, Payton, and Maddox.

TLC cameras were reportedly rolling for the event, according to a U.S. Sun source, capturing footage to be aired on either a future season of Sister Wives or a potential spinoff series. 

Christine was escorted down the aisle by her son, Paedon, and her father, Rex. The TLC star wore a lace column wedding gown and David rocked a classic black tux. 

Christine said of her wedding day — “It’s a fairytale. It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”  The snarky wedding day commentary wasn’t the first time that David fired a shot at Christine’s ex. In April, the couple took to Instagram to shade Kody for insulting his future third wife over how she consumed nachos. The “nacho incident” was described in the 2013 family memoir, “Becoming Sister Wives: The Story of an Unconventional Marriage.”

David took a swipe at Kody’s throwback diss in a captioned post that featured a snap of the lovebirds showing off a tray of nachos.

The post’s caption read — “Happy Birthday! I love eating nachos with you, My Queen!” He used hash tags, “#myqueen #christinebrown #soulmate #nachoslive.” 

Sister Wives airs on Sundays, at 10 pm ET, on TLC.
