’90 Day Fiancé’ Brandan De Nucciõ Confesses ‘Cold Feet’ to an Unmoved Mary Rosa Before Popping the Question — Inside a Janitor’s Closet!

Brandan De Nucciõ admitted that he was having second thoughts about proposing to Mary Rosa on Monday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Brandan confessed that he was “getting cold feet all of a sudden” as he prepared to pop the question. 

“This has been a long time coming and I just wanted to basically say that you know I love you and I don’t know how else to say this other than to just, you know, kind of show you,” he said as he opened a small box. 

Mary asked — “What’s that?” to which Brandan replied — “Hopefully, if you say yes, this is, like, your engagement ring.”

Brandan proposed as Mary sat in blank-faced silence. 

He asked — “I didn’t rehearse this at all. I just — will you marry me, Mary?”

The proposal came after the couple revealed in an earlier episode that Mary was pregnant with Brandan’s child. Brandan and Mary previously vowed to save themselves for marriage out of respect for Mary’s grandparents. They changed course to try for a baby, and successfully conceived three months after Brandan moved to the Philippines from Eugene, Oregon.  

“I’m happy because I’m having a baby fever. So that’s why I’m being crazy and I really want a baby, right,” Mary explained. “I know we were trying, but it’s different when you’re trying compared to like, when it actually happens and you’re like, ‘OK, hold on.’ Like, I thought it would take longer.”

Mary also shared why she decided to lose her virginity despite her family’s belief system. 

“Brandan is here now in person, and I really love him and I feel ready to give my all to him,” she said. “You know, we’re humans.”

Brandan noted that while he once felt confident about becoming a father, his perspective had shifted since learning of Mary’s pregnancy.  

“I felt really confident and I felt like I was ready to have a baby. But now that it’s actually happening, I’m thinking to myself, like, ‘Where did my confidence come from?’” he said. “I’m starting to have doubts. I just really hope that we can handle everything that’s on our plate.”

Brandan and Mary tied the knot in April, as leaked by Brandan’s mom, Angela Stiggins, who dished a spoiler via posted photos of the pair’s April 28 wedding reception. Angela revealed in a separate social media post that the wedding took place in the Philippines and that TLC cameras were rolling. 

Angela’s caption read — “I made it home!! It’s bittersweet. I miss my son and his family in the Philippines already but glad to be back in my own bed. This trip has put a lot of things into perspective for me and I’m ready to really start living life to the fullest.”
