Britney Spears’ Reportedly Dating Criminal Housekeeper Amid Sam Asghari Split Drama!
Britney Spears has been dating Paul Richard Soliz, a former staffer with a criminal record. A source alleged that the 41-year-old pop star had been seeing her former housekeeper amid her divorce from Sam Asghari, according to a Page Six report.
A second source denied that Britney Spears had cheated on her estranged husband, and that rumors of a relationship between the singer and Soliz were “false.”
A third insider claimed that the pair wasn’t dating, clarifying that they had stopped spending time together after she “came back from Mexico.”
A source also the Daily Mail that the “Toxic” singer only began seeing Soliz post-split from Asghari. The tipster claimed that Britney had a “short fling” with her ex-employee but that the duo had already cut ties and were no longer speaking.
One of the snitches speculated that Britney’s recent trip to Mexico likely kept the real story under the radar, because Soliz may not have been able to leave the country due to ongoing legal issues.
Britney Spears reportedly began cozying up to her former housekeeper in August. Soliz was hired for approximately a year to “clean toilets, mop floors and pick up trash” around the pop icon’s California abode, per a Page Six source. Soliz was reportedly fired after his criminal past was exposed. The outlet uncovered that he had been charged with multiple misdemeanors and one felony, per a background check.
Soliz was convicted on a disturbing the peace charge in 2014, the same year a child endangerment charge was dismissed. His record revealed a 2016 driving without a license conviction and a later conviction for felony possession of a firearm, in 2022.
Britney and Soliz were seen out in public several times in late August, once while grabbing coffee at a Starbucks.
Soliz was due in court for an alleged probation violation during Britney’s Cabo getaway.
Us Weekly caught up with Soliz outside the courthouse on Monday, where he gushed that Britney was a a “phenomenal woman.”
He added — “She’s a very, very good, positive … she’s a good person,” but didn’t offer clarification on the status of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Asghari has been keeping busy walking in the SAG-AFTRA picket line, as he is currently unemployed. The actor filed for divorce from the singer last month, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Britney tied the knot with the former personal trainer in June 2022.
An insider previously claimed that Asghari was trying to “negotiate concessions beyond his prenup,” but a second source called the prenup “iron clad.”
