‘Married to Medicine’ Star Quad Webb’s Baby Niece Drowns At Her Georgia Home
Tragedy struck at Quad Webb’s Georgia home when her 3-year-old niece drowned in her backyard swimming pool.
The heartbreaking incident has left her family deeply saddened, and our thoughts go out to those affected by this devastating event.
“Quad Webb and family have suffered the loss of two beloved family members, in separate occasions, in just one week,” her rep told TMZ in a statement following the horrific news. “This has been an incredibly challenging experience for the entire family. Your understanding and support are deeply valued. In this trying time, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and compassion shown by the public, fans and media,” the statement continued. “We kindly request much needed privacy during this period of mourning, as Quad is taking time to grieve with her family.”
On July 7, Cobb County police responded to a distress call regarding a 3-year-old girl who drowned at the residence of Married to Medicine star in Marietta, Georgia. The incident has been met with sadness and shock, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers reported that firefighters were already providing medical assistance to the child. According to the police, the young girl was transported to a nearby hospital, but tragically, she was pronounced dead.
According to two men who were visiting Quad Webb’s home, they informed the police that they had been in the pool for approximately two hours until 8 p.m. Afterward, they got out, went inside the house, ordered pizza, and spent time upstairs.
The unidentified men mentioned that after some time, they returned downstairs and noticed what they initially thought was a doll floating in the pool.
Once the men realized that the floating object was the child, they immediately took action, pulling her out of the pool and calling 911 for emergency assistance. As of now, it remains unclear whether Quad was present at home during the incident. The authorities believe the tragic event was an accident, and their investigation is ongoing to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the heartbreaking occurrence.
In their report, officers identified the young girl as Aryanna Rice, who is the daughter of Tamica Webb of Memphis, Tennesse.
Back in April, Quad shared an Instagram carousel in honor of her niece, Aryanna Rice, on her 3rd birthday.
As per the police report, Rice, the 3-year-old had been staying at the Bravolebrity’s house for a month-long vacation. The tragic incident occurred during her stay, casting a dark shadow over what was meant to be a joyful time together.
“Wow, I can’t believe my baby is 3 years old today! I remember you falling to sleep laying on my chest,” the reality star captioned the series of photos and videos. “You absolutely stole my heart from the moment I saw you; Ari you’re so special to me and I’m grateful to be apart [sic] of your life! I got you forever!!! Happy birthday chocolate drop😘💕🎂🥰.”
Back in 2020, Quad pretended to be adopting a baby — during an interview with Delux Magazine, she stated: “We have a new baby that’s on the way, and so we’re very happy about her. She’s in the hospital right now,” she gushed at the time, adding, “My mom and I have custody of her. And so I am working really, really hard to prepare a home for her.”
Quad went on, “I just want to be able to give her the best life possible, and I am responsible for that, and she’s gonna get that.”
The following month, the actress clarified to The Daily Dish that “Baby Ari” is not her adopted daughter. Although she refrained from providing extensive details, Quad expressed that she and her mother played a supportive role in the child’s life, being part of “the village” that contributes to raising and caring for her.
