Fans have come to the defense of Bravo executive, Andy Cohen, after exposed footage revealed the Watch What Happens Live host playing with a man’s nipple during a Pride event, in NYC.
Andy Cohen was filmed rubbing the chest of a shirtless man sitting on his lap while talking to another male in a gay nightclub. The secretly filmed video went viral on Instagram, which led to a flood of supportive fans coming forward to defend the Bravo boss. Press play below to watch.
One Twitter user wrote — “People are really shaming Andy Cohen for having a hot guy sit on his lap during pride? Y’all need to get laid and get off Reddit for 5 minutes!”
Another user said that defending Cohen was a must, because “secretly recording people is corny as f–k.”
The person added — “So it’s a gay man being gay, why is this newsworthy? Please touch grass.”
Another person called the spy who filmed Cohen “absolute trash.”
The fan ranted — “Justice for Andy Cohen!!! Let him do gay s–t at pride in peace. It’s supposed safe space for EVERYONE so whoever put this online is absolute trash.”
Another chimed in — “Andy Cohen is a grown gay man and he can do wtf he wants. Why are people acting brand new he has a life people.”
The network exec has yet to publicly respond to the viral video, and his rep has not put out a statement.
Andy Cohen did put out a Twitter call for his followers to submit their questions for upcoming Watch What Happens Live guests, actress, Vivica A. Fox and Real Housewives of Orange County star, Jennifer Pedranti.
Cohen regularly makes headlines amid drama playing out on the Bravo lineup, and was recently hit with controversy after sharing his opinion on Raquel Leviss’ mental state, during the fiery Vanderpump Rules reunion.
Raquel Leviss aloofly apologized for her role in the affair that led to Sandoval’s split from his nine-year girlfriend, Ariana Madix, and her demeanor left Andy Cohen shocked.
“I was worried for Raquel’s mental health going into the reunion. I mean, I still am,” Cohen told Variety in an episode of “Making a Scene.
He went on — “But actually, when I saw how unemotional she was, it made me think she was either really medicated or really out of touch with her role in everything.”
The TV host also reacted to Raquel’s odd response to her former pal, Scheana Shay’s emotional breakdown.
“When Scheana is crying her eyes out and [Raquel] says in the trailer, ‘I should have written her a note’ — I found that very confusing. It made me think that maybe there was something she was missing about what these relationships were,” Cohen said.
“It made me think that maybe she didn’t think they were as real as the other people thought. I didn’t understand.”
