Tamar Braxton Gets Into Baby Mama Drama With Fiancé’s Ex
Tamar Braxton’s fiancé, Jeremy “JR” Robinson, has gone on defense after one of his children’s mothers slammed the singer for causing “chaos and unnecessary drama” in their lives.
“@TamarBraxton has always been an amazing mother and spoiled my children with love!” the lawyer wrote on his Instagram Stories Friday.
He continued — “The mother’s {sic] of my children have been put in the public eye because of me and that’s unfair to them.”
“They have been nothing short of amazing to my children. Sometimes a difference of opinion with no conversation to clear up miscommunication creates a bad cycle,” he added.
Robinson, who shares five children with four different women, wrapped his remarks, concluding — “I want everyone to be peaceful and will do my best to foster that.”
Robinson fired back after his ex, Anaston Jeni, posted a fiery message aimed at Braxton after the recording artist claimed that she shared a strong relationship with Robinson’s five children and their respective moms.
“I have sat in silence for over a year, respecting everyone’s privacy while they disrespected mine,” Jeni, who shares a son with Robinson, wrote on Instagram Friday. “I’ve sat in silence while this person has come into my son’s life and caused nothing but chaos and unnecessary drama.”
Jeni added that the Braxton Family Values alum was “in no way a bonus or step mom” to the ex-couple’s 2-year-old son, Asher.
She also accused Braxton of saying “demeaning, disrespectful, & outrageous things” about how she navigates co-parenting with Robinson. She alleged that Braxton’s behavior had caused her ex “to miss visitation weekends and birthdays.”
“I’m fine with people sharing their version of the story that they’ve created for themselves on social media + television, but what we will not continue to do is involve the son that I raise in someone else’s shenanigans,” Jeni concluded.
Tamar Braxton has not directly addressed Jeni’s scathing rant but posted that “foolishness changes nothing,” on her Friday Instagram Story.
News broke that Robinson had proposed to Braxton during the finale episode of her reality dating show, “Queens Court,” the day before Jeni posted her comments.
“I don’t wanna be your friend. I wanna be your husband,” he said while on one knee. “I’m here forever because I don’t see my life without you. And I love you.”
Robinson asked — “Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?”
Tamar Braxton accepted his proposal, telling her new fiancé that she “can’t believe I found what I was looking for.”
Tamar shares one child, 9-year-old son, Logan, with her ex-husband, Vincent Herbert. Braxton and Herbert were married for 9 years before they parted ways in 2017.
