Bobby Brown’s Attorney Slams TMZ & Daily Mail UK For Spreading False Gossip About #BobbiKristina
Numerous reports have flooded the media in recent days regarding Bobbi Kristina’s condition and the overall prognosis. The latest revelation was her family planned to turn off life support on the anniversary of her mother’s passing (today). Now, a lawyer representing the family denies the report that Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, and grandmother, Cissy Houston, have planned to remove her from life support today, approximately, three years to the day that Bobbi Kristina’s mom Whitney Houston died. The family lawyer released the following statement slamming the worse offenders, TMZ and Daily Mail (UK):
“We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended.” Said Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown. “However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time. In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be “first” has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy. This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence.”
Bobbi Kristina, 21, the only child of Houston and singer Bobby Brown, has been in a medically induced coma since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia, home on January 31. Bobby Brown’s sister, Tina Brown claims Bobbi Kris ‘moved her eyes’ and is ‘getting better.’
As previously reported, Roswell police are currently investigating face and mouth injuries sustained by the promising young musician.
Hundreds of supporters gathered and prayed for a ‘miracle’ for the 21-year-old this past Monday. Over 500 people packed the outdoor venue for the vigil, holding signs with messages of support as musicians and local leaders led the crowd in prayer and song. It was very emotional and touching.
According to family members who spoke to the press after a candlelight vigil on Monday,
“She’s progressing. She’s getting better. We just ask for people to continue to pray,” said Tina Brown, the older sister of singer Bobby Brown and aunt to Bobbi Kristina.
Understandably, Bobby Brown did not attend the hundreds of supporters at a “Shining a Light for Healing” vigil, which was held at the Amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center in Atlanta. However, his brother, Tommy Brown, was in attendance and said of the gathering: “It’s beautiful.”
