Lisa Vanderpump Reveals She’s Cried for Lala Kent Over Allegations Against Randall Emmett
Lisa Vanderpump has revealed that she “cried” over Lala Kent and the allegations against her ex, Randall Emmett. The Vanderpump Rules boss described her feelings about the situation to Page Six on Tuesday night, at the Season 10 premiere party.
“I’m always emotionally involved with everything [the show’s cast members] do,” the Bravo star told the outlet. “I’ve cried for Lala. I’ve cried about the allegations against Randall, who I loved.”
“I loved him because I loved her — clearly, not enough,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum added.
Lala became emotional when she described the support she’s received from the restauranteur since making the break from the Hollywood producer. The couple is currently embroiled in a custody battle over their 1-year-old daughter, Ocean.
Lala split from Emmett in October 2021, after he was caught living an alleged “double life.”
“Lisa’s my ride-or-die. I adore this woman more than anything,” Lala said. “She’s offered me an incredible opportunity, but when my life took a decline, she was there for me.”
Lala choked up when she noticed Lisa standing nearby, explaining — “Sorry, I get emotional when I see her. She’s been amazing.”
The Season 10 VPR trailer featured the 32-year-old sobbing to Lisa — “I wanna know why people are accusing [Emmett] of the things they’re accusing him of.”
Lala confirmed that she did not disclose on camera what accusations she was referring to when asked if viewers would learn the whole story on the show.
“My situation is very delicate, so I’m gonna steer clear of it,” she explained, giving kudos to her co-stars for “just know[ing] that there are some things that don’t need to be on television.”
Emmett’s ex-wife, Ambyr Childers, alleged in court documents that the 51-year-old producer was under FBI investigation for “suspected child exploitation and pedophilia.”
The Los Angeles Times reported on three other people who claimed that they were contacted by the agency in regard to Emmett’s behavior as well.
Emmett denied that any investigation existed, calling the allegation “disgusting and untrue” in comments to Page Six.
A FBI rep told the outlet — “In keeping with DOJ policy, the FBI can neither confirm nor deny the existence of investigations.”
Emmett and Childers, who divorced in 2017, share custody of two daughters, London, 13, and 9-year-old, Rylee. Last month, the exes settled a dispute over Childers’ restraining order and custody requests. Lala shared that despite her ex’s claim that she was working with Childers to “destroy [his] reputation,” her relationship with the 34-year-old actress was genuine and healthy.
“We’re still close. I really love and adore her, and I think she’s a great woman,” Kent said.
She added that she was “proud” that Childers could move past their issues and “put the kids first.”
“She’s incredible. I don’t know that many people are as resilient as she is and as forgiving as she is,” Lala continued. “It speaks volumes about her character, and I’m just honored to have her in my life.”
Both women accused Emmett of physical, mental, and emotional abuse, claims which he denied.
Lala confirmed that Ocean would not be appearing on the upcoming season of the Bravo reality show because “the other side would not allow it.”
Vanderpump Rules Season 10 premieres on Wednesday at 9 pm ET on Bravo.
