Candiace Dillard Drags Robyn Dixon For Hiding Juan’s Cheating From ‘RHOP’ Cameras

Candiace Dillard Bassett is not holding back after her Real Housewives of Potomac co-star, Robyn Dixon, admitted that she knew about her husband’s relationship with another woman while filming Season 7.

Candiace used Twitter to put Robyn on blast for not keeping it real for the Bravo audience while rumors swirled during Season 7 production.

Karen Huger accused Juan of having a secret relationship with a blonde woman during a recent episode, an allegation that Robyn laughed off on camera. Last week, a mystery woman came forward with hotel receipts, claiming that she had an affair with Juan during the COVID-19 pandemic. The woman added that Robyn knew all about Juan’s infidelity and even produced a 2022 text message she received from the former NBA star.

Robyn recently confessed that she knew about the other woman while chatting on “Reasonably Shady,” the podcast she co-hosts with Gizelle Bryant. 

“All of season 7, I’m just waiting for somebody to bring it up,” Robyn shared, adding that she expected the cheating scandal to surface. “I was already aware of the situation. I expected to talk about it.”

Robyn explained that she and Juan were able to “work through” the incident. 

Candiace took to social media to call attention to the fact that her co-star had covered up the truth while filming the reality show.

Candiace wrote — “Wow: A Thread: Our boss’ favorite clapback when we’re playing coy about certain aspects of our lives is: ‘you’re on a reality show about your life.’ There is an expectation that — doing no harm — we show up to this platform as our authentic selves.”

The singer added — “And while we ‘reserve the right to be judicious about what we share’ there is a special brand of audacity attached to individuals who will knowingly bury the lede in exchange for damning and salacious lies that stand to cause irreparable harm to innocent people.”

Candiace noted that the “integrity of the premise” of the show took a hit and that the behavior “tap dances on the intelligence of the viewership that champion our stories and discover their own parallels in our lives.”

Candiace went on—”And when it’s not that deep, it simply occludes amusement. It’s not entertaining. It’s not interesting. It’s wack. Why be open or genuine or authentic when the least of us can rob our viewers of the truth and continually be rewarded for it? What are we doing? And a better question, what are y’all watching?”

Robyn’s admission and Candiace’s subsequent lashing came only days after news broke that Robyn had tied the knot with the former pro athlete for the second time. The newlyweds share two sons, Corey, 14, and Carter, 13,

Three sources told PEOPLE that the news will be revealed in the upcoming season finale episode, which will reportedly include footage of the couple’s ceremony. Robyn and Juan’s big day was filmed after Season 7 wrapped and did not include any of Robyn’s cast mates.
