Joy Behar Blasted For Being Rude To A-List Star 

The View host Joy Behar said some rude things to A-list celebrity, Kristin Chenoweth, when she appeared on a recent episode.

During Kristin’s appearance on The View, Joy Behar made an inappropriate joke that didn’t sit well with viewers. Joy thanked Kristin for coming on air, but then called her a “little girl with a big voice and a big heart.”

Kristin Chenoweth, who stands at just 4-foot-1, looked smaller than the rest of the cast. At first, when the Broadway star went on the show, she joked that production could have “raised the seat a little” for her. The show went on smoothly after Behar’s comments about Kristin’s height.

Near the end, Joy Behar asked the actress about the projects she was working on.

“We hear you’re working on a new Broadway show. Can you tell us anything about that?” Joy asked.

Kristin replied, “It’s gonna be good.”

Then Joy replied, “Well, we love having you. You’re a little girl with a big voice and a big heart.”

Viewers were very offended by Behar’s remarks and made it known online.

One fan blasted The View host saying, “Little girl? 😒 No Joy, she’s a grown woman. I didn’t care for that remark from Joy. #Theview.”

Another person added, “Joy calling Kristen a lil’ girl! It’s probably the voice! #theview.”

Despite the diss, everyone on set was in good spirits and excited to have Kristin there. This isn’t the first time viewers have come after Joy for being rude on the show. Earlier this year, while The View celebrated Ana Navarro’s birthday, Joy made some remarks about food from her co-host’s native country of Nicaragua.

The 80-year-old looked at the food and asked, “What is this potato thing?”

Ana snapped, “It’s a tortilla.”

Joy Behar asked, “Is it supposed to be cold? Cause it’s cold.”

Co-host, Sunny Hostin, chimed in, “Yes, it’s supposed to be cold,” causing everyone to laugh except Ana.

At the time, viewers said, “Joy kinda asking about the food like that earlier. ‘What is this? Is it supposed to be cold?’ etc. #TheView.”

Another viewer added, “Joy has no culture or couth.”

The comedian’s recent comments about Alec Baldwin’s manslaughter charges have also gotten her into trouble with many viewers. The hosts reacted to Alec getting charged for the October 2021 shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust.” Joy alleged, “The DA who is indicting him … She’s a big Republican. I’m only saying this because Alex Baldwin is a target for Republicans. They can not stand him … I’m just saying.”

Joy Behar also said she didn’t understand why Baldwin was being charged.

“I was in a couple of movies and all you are thinking of is your part when you are an actor. I was not worried that my brassier was going to fall off me, somebody else had to worry about that. You are interested in your lines, where were you two minutes ago, that’s it. So I don’t really understand what this is about.”

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin disagreed with her Behar, and so did fans.

One viewer slammed Joy, “Equating a loaded gun with a bra? This woman is actually insane, what is this?”

Another added, “Imagine thinking that a woman who lost her life is irrelevant because she isn’t a big-name star like the person who killed her. And it is everyone else fault because the Big-name star shouldn’t have to check the gun. What a despicable human joy is.” 

A third even called Joy lazy for her uneducated takes on serious topics, “Joy Behar is the classic example of someone whose public success has left her with an ego that prevents her from doing even the bare minimum of research and study before she goes on the air each day. She is poorly versed on every single topic.”
