Amy Robach’s Stepson Nathaniel Shue Posts Cryptic Video Amid Affair with TJ Holmes
Amy Robach’s affair with her Good Morning America co-anchor, T.J. Holmes, really affected her ex-husband Andrew Shue’s children.
Amy’s stepson, Nathaniel Shue, 26, posted an uplifting video to his Instagram account that fondly looked back at 2022. In the video, the 26-year-old could be seen playing with his dog on the beach and going out with his two brothers Aidan and Wyatt. In another clip, he’s embracing his siblings before it cuts to a soccer game from an audience’s view. Nathaniel captioned the video, “2022 was a doozy. Not sure what I’m wishing for in ’23 but I’ve got a little faith it’ll come. Love my people.” Amy’s stepson noticeably didn’t include her in the video, but this isn’t the first time he has snubbed her after the affair.

In a previous post, Nathaniel posed with his two siblings and their father, Melrose Palace star, Andrew Shue. He captioned it, “RIDERS ON THE STORM. ON TO 23.” Fans filled the eldest Shue brother’s comment section with support and love for his family as they get used to their new normal.
One person wrote, “Stay strong Andrew. You have a great support system in your sons.”
Another fan said, “May ’23 be much kinder to your hearts and family. Praying as I know it is difficult especially when your family changes and siblings are no longer there. Keep strong for each other.”
Amy, 49, and Andrew, 55, had a blended family which has been torn apart after her affair with TJ was exposed.
Amy Robach shares two daughters, Ana and Analise, with her ex-husband, Tim McIntosh, while Andrew shares three sons with his ex-wife Jennifer Hageney.
Since Amy and Andrew got married in 2010, they have been vocal about raising a blended family that they fondly referred to as “ShueBachians.” The way Amy and her now ex Andrew got together was similar to how she got together with TJ Holmes, 45. The former couple sparked romance rumors in April 2009 when they were spotted holding hands and kissing before they got divorced from their respective partners. In October 2021, Andrew and Amy released a joint book, ‘Better Together,’ based on their blended family with the hope of inspiring other families.
Only a year after the book’s release, Amy is no longer in a blended family. Instead, she is dating her co-worker, Holmes. The new couple went on a trip to Miami at the end of 2022, days after Holmes filed for divorce from his ex, Marilee Fiebig. In photos obtained by Page Six, Amy and TJ were all over each other and even making out in public. Holmes was dressed in a white T-shirt and khaki pants, while Robach, sported a black halter top and a leopard-print skirt while on the pier. When the two weren’t making out, they were holding hands and giving each other small kisses on each other’s cheeks and shoulders. In the wake of their affair, the two were suspended from their jobs as co-hosts on Good Morning America 3, pending investigations by the network.
In August 2022, Andrew and Amy split amid rumors she was dating Holmes. She has since moved out of the West Village apartment she shared with Shue and into a new place of her own. An insider told PEOPLE, “Amy was going through a heartache and TJ was very much there for her and helpful, and that is when they started something.” Another source insisted the two reporters only began dating after they broke up with their spouses. “This was two consenting adults who were each separated. They both broke up with their spouses in August within weeks of each other,” the insider said. “The relationship didn’t start until after that.”
