Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein shared video evidence of the moment she caught Lenny Hochstein in the act with his mistress, Katharina Mazepa.
Lisa Hochstein took to her Instagram to repost a video of the May 2022 incident that happened inside a packed nightclub in Miami. In the video below, the reality star turned on her camera flashlight as she approached Lenny and Mazepa. Lisa’s ex turned to her and asked, “What are you doing?” while his 27-year-old mistress seductively licked her lips while staring at the camera.
The Real Housewives of Miami star captioned the post, “For those asking this incident did not happen recently. It was on Mother’s Day just days after he said he wanted to leave.”
The Real Housewives of Miami fans reacted to the video on Twitter and shared their disappointment in Lenny’s decision.
One person tweeted, “one day when she has kids of her own or if she is still around how is she gonna explain this to HIS kids.. I was licking my lips like a lunatic because? …”
Another person said that Lenny is in the middle of a midlife crisis. “He’s obviously having a mid-life crisis, so she just needs to take what she can get from him and go. She can find someone new.”
At the time the altercation happened, it quickly made headlines with eyewitnesses saying a drink was thrown at some point.
Other people there said, “they were all there and they did have words.” Another claimed Lisa Hochstein shouted in Mazepa’s face. Lenny denied the incident and said he wasn’t planning on divorcing his wife. However, after several news outlets picked up the story, he admitted that he was ending his 12-year marriage to Lisa.
In a statement, Lenny said, “Lisa and I are getting divorced. A few weeks ago I denied this because I am trying my best to protect my family during this process. This is a very difficult time and I would ask for some privacy so that we can best take care of our children who mean the world to us.”
According to court documents, Lenny filed for divorce from his estranged wife on Friday, May 20. He admitted to dating Katharina but said his relationship with her didn’t start until after he made the decision to get a divorce. A source close to The Real Housewives of Miami star said she was disgusted that Lenny would do this to his kids.
The former couple share two children together, Logan, 7, and Elle, 3.
The two are currently in a divorce battle that Lisa describes as “really ugly” and “really nasty.” Lisa revealed to PEOPLE that she would never get back together with the plastic surgeon.
“He’s done so many horrible things to me — too much has been said and too much has been done — that any chance of reconciling is gone in my mind. I have no hopes of getting back together. That ship has sailed,” she explained.
Lisa also said they both tried to keep things private but they couldn’t and it’s just embarrassing now. In the December 2022 interview, Lisa added that her divorce proceedings with Lenny have gotten to the point where she hates Lenny. “Every day, I can feel the anger and hate between Lenny and I growing on both sides. It just get worse and worse, which worries me because I don’t know how we’ll ever find peace if it stays like this.”
Since their decision, Lisa said Lenny moved in with Katharina but comes by the house to spend time with their children. “The kids have always been my focus. I want them to have a normal, happy life. But my heart breaks for them. I never thought Lenny and I wouldn’t be together ’til the end. I never envisioned I’d be a single mom.”
The reality star, whose two kids were born via surrogate, said that her dream was always to have a family. “I struggled with infertility; it took us so long to get here and now that we’re here, he’s leaving. And there’s nothing I can do to fix it.”
