Todd Chrisley Will Be Cleaning Toilets In Prison
Chrisley Knows Best star Todd Chrisley will go from riches to rags once he enters prison in 2023 … he’ll be cleaning toilets in the pokey, according to a new report.
In June, Todd, 53, and Julie Chrisley, 49, were convicted of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud.
Todd was sentenced to 12 years and he is set to begin his prison sentence at FPC Pensacola on January 15, 2023.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons revealed to Radar Online that Todd would earn as little as 12 cents an hour, cleaning the stinky toilets in prison. There are 4 different pay grade levels, the lowest being toilet duty $0.12 then, $0.17, $0.29 and $0.40 being the highest.
As per the Inmate Work and Performance Pay Rules, “Sentenced inmates who are physically and mentally able to work are required to participate in the work program.”
Todd’s work schedule will consist of a minimum of 7 hours and he is expected to report to the place of assignment at the required time. According to the prison rules, Todd ‘may not leave an assignment without permission. If the Chrisley Knows Best star refuses to work ‘disciplinary action may be taken.’ Before he turns himself in, Todd is spending his last Christmas for a while with his immediate family.
As reported, Todd will be able to communicate his wife Julie, who will be serving her 7 year sentence just a few hours away. With their wardens’ approval, the couple will be able to write letters, send emails and packages to each other. Julie will be doing her time at FCI Tallahassee, which is infamous for housing convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
Despite being able to talk to each other, they won’t have much privacy. They are prohibited from sealing any mail and it “may always be inspected and read by staff at the sending and receiving institutions.”
Todd and Julie will also be able to send each other emails without having access to the internet. As per the prison’s website, “Normally, the approval of mail correspondence privileges will apply to electronic messages generated via TRULINCS.
The approval of correspondence privileges for both inmates will remain in effect even if either is transferred within the Bureau. The unit team will forward a copy of the approved mail correspondence to the mail room and trust fund staff for processing,”
Todd’s daughter Savannah said recently that the couple’s number one priority is being there for their family.
The couple are savoring every moment with their loved ones before they have to turn themselves into prison in January.
