Restraining Order Against ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Denied
On December 20, Ambyr Childers request for an emergency domestic violence restraining order against her ex-husband, Randall Emmett was denied.
Ambyr Childers and Randall Emmett were married from 2009 to 2017 but they had already separated by 2015. After their separation, the movie producer began dating Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent.
Randall Emmett and his first wife share two kids together London, 12 and Rylee, 6 while he shares a daughter, Ocean with Lala Kent, who they welcomed in 2021. Lala and Randall split later that year after she claimed he cheated on her with several other women. Ambyr’s initial request for a restraining order was filed on October 24, 2022.
In the first filing, Ambyr Childers requested sole legal and physical custody of their two children. She claimed Randall sent her a threatening email between him and his lawyer Ben Valencia where the latter wrote, “When will you get some real money together so we can take this c*** out once and for all. This is not good for your girls.” However the judge denied this initial request because of lack of evidence.
The judge said he denied the request because the email message was ‘inadmissible’ in court because of ‘confidential attorney-client communication.”
After Ambyr’s recent restraining order was denied, Randall responded via PageSix, “My priority always has been and will continue to be my children.”
He recently claimed his ex wife’s friendship with Lala Kent is in an effort to take him down. In court documents obtained by the news outlet Randall claimed, “I believe that Ambyr and Lauren are working together in [an] attempt to destroy my reputation to give them both an advantage for custody. Ambyr has completely fabricated abuse that never happened and I believe that Lauren has convinced her to do so.”Emmett also responded to abuse claims from Childers.
“Ambyr has never made any allegations of domestic violence against me during our marriage, nor has she ever made allegations of domestic violence against me since we separated.
Ambyr states she cannot remember specific incidents of abuse. She cannot remember specific incidents, because there are none.” The producer then accused Lala of being behind his ex wife’s abuse claims. “Lauren and I are in the middle of a very contentious custody litigation, in which Lauren has made false allegations of abuse, though she has never filed a DVRO Request against me, because she knows she is not a victim of abuse.”
The Vanderpump Rules star says she split with Randall after he tackled her to the ground when she asked if he was cheating.
