Carlos King Calls Out Robyn Dixon, Gizelle Bryant, and Karen Huger For Siding With Mia Thornton
Carlos King is calling out some of the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac for not diffusing the situation between Mia Thornton and Wendy Osefo.
During his podcast, the Love & Marriage: Huntsville producer spoke about how the show isn’t interesting to watch anymore. Carlos King told his guest, DJ Richie Skye, that The Real Housewives of Potomac was becoming triggering because of recent events.
Mia Thornton and Wendy got into an altercation during the cast trip to Miami, and instead of de-escalating the moment, the rest of the cast sat by and watched. Carlos King called the cast out for not having Wendy’s back and Robyn for taking out her phone to record everything.
“I love Potomac. But I gotta be honest. This season isn’t hitting as past seasons have been because I feel like all of the women are having unlikable moments,” Carlos said.
Carlos King said that Robyn’s behavior was not natural human behavior.
“I have never in my life or career have been around a group of people, in this case, the cast is full of women, where someone knucks and no one bucks up to diffuse the situation. I was disturbed by Robyn taking her iPhone and recording a video of it.”
The OWN producer said Gizelle Bryant should have done something since she is always vocal on the show about not tolerating violence. He also added that, at this point, The Real Housewives of Potomac is Gizelle’s show whether fans want to accept it or not.
Carlos continued — “Gizelle Bryant is the force multiplier, the Queen Bee, the face of Real Housewives of Potomac … And when you are the force multiplier of the show, that means you control the energy in the room. And I was disappointed that Gizelle Kobe Bryant, as the queen bee of the show, did not say, ‘Okay this is getting too far.’ And try to diffuse it. That just left me disappointed because I felt like those ladies chose a good scene versus trying to be a good person.”

Carlos said he just wanted Bryant to stand up and say, “’Alright guys, enough is enough. It’s gone too far … this is not what we do,’ because you cannot sit up here on your podium Season 5 and call Monique everything but a child of God for what she did.”
The Reality with The King host also had some words for Karen Huger who claimed to like Wendy.
“Dr. Wendy has so much to lose. Somebody should have said – listen, I’m not just gonna say Gizelle and Robyn, I already said my opinions about them — I’ma get Karen. Karen, at least from what we saw last season, it appears you like Dr. Wendy,” Carlos began. “You didn’t do anything either. You got up. ‘Oh my gosh. Did this really happen? Did water get on me?’ It was so fake.”
Real Housewives of Potomac fans also think Gizelle and Robyn could have done more in the situation than they did.
