No Shame…Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Arrive At ‘GMA’ Together As A Proud Couple

Sources at ABC report that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes arrived at work “together,” as if nothing had happened. 

The two Good Morning America co-anchors who have both been married for more than 10 years were exposed for cheating on their spouses. As per the source, Amy, 49, and T.J., 45, arrived at ABC headquarters to and said they were ready to film GMA 3.

“While producers had been freaking out and having meetings about whether it was right to put them back on air again together, they showed up as a couple and said they were ready and totally fine to go on air,” the source said.

The Daily Mail posted photos of Robach and Holmes on an intimate getaway two weeks before Thanksgiving. The two were leaving a cottage, and at one point, Holmes was photographed grabbing Amy’s butt. The insider added, “Their attitude seems to be that they are both separated, and now they are together, so there’s nothing to hide.” GMA 3 was pre-recorded on December 1 and aired at 1 pm. Earlier that day, Good Morning America anchors chose to ignore the cheating scandal completely.

Despite them not addressing the issue, another source told Page Six that Disney CEO Bob Iger was notified about the affair on Tuesday. “He has been in close contact with ABC News president Kim Godwin. Their decision is a “watch and wait” approach. The insider continued to say, “Amy and T.J. are peers, they — quite obviously — have great chemistry on TV. They are both separated from their spouses. They are free to be a couple. In some ways, this is TV gold let’s just hope they don’t break up.” 

Holmes is married to attorney Marilee Fiebig while Robach is married to actor Andrew Shue, who has already removed all traces of her from his Instagram. Neither Shue nor Fiebig have spoken on their marital status, but sources say the couple separated from their spouses in August.

As per Page Six, the producers and staffers at Good Morning America were shocked to hear about the affair. An insider said about the two anchor’s relationship, “They have a very cozy relationship on air, but that is what is expected. But they were very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair secret.” 

Holmes’ and Robach’s affair began while they were training together for the New York City Half marathon in March. The two began co-anchoring GMA 3 in 2020 and have been known to have a very close friendship off-screen.
