‘Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Fears Death After Catching Covid
In an exclusive sneak peek of Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives, Kody and Robyn Brown open up about how tough it was when they got COVID.
Kody, 53, who has been very strict on following COVID-19 protocols to protect Robyn and their younger children, had his biggest fear come true. Kody, Robyn, and the kids tested positive for COVID. Robyn was hit the hardest and even had to go to the hospital.
Brown said in a confessional, “Robyn’s not improving. She’s not improving. Finally, our doctor says, ‘Take her to the hospital.’ People go to the hospital to die.”
Robyn’s daughter, Aurora, also thought her mother was on the brink of death. “I was crying and praying because I was scared that she might die.”
Robyn, 44, who survived her battle with the virus, said leaving home was an emotional experience. “I didn’t want to say goodbye to my kids. I didn’t want to say goodbye because I didn’t want it to be the last time I saw them,” she said while wiping away tears.
Kody took his wife to the hospital but stayed in the car. At one point, the TLC star even considered admitting himself so that he could be closer to Robyn. “Seems like a waste for me to be going in there and playing sick when there’s people who might be dying or Robyn who’s passing out,” he said.
Viewers will get to see a masked Robyn Brown in the hospital as she struggles to breathe. She says she has been waiting for close to six or seven hours for a room because the facility is “backed up.” After speaking to his wife over the phone, Kody adds, “She sounds pretty bad. She says, ‘I’m sitting here just wasting away. I think that I was sitting there wondering if she was going to live.” Kody and Robyn have been under fire for their strict adherence to COVID protocols.

When Christine, 50, and her daughter, Truely, 12, were moving to Utah, Robyn and Kody gave them a chilly send-off. Kody didn’t allow his youngest daughter, Ariella, to hug Truely when she was the only one who tried to hug her half-sister. Robyn and her other three kids, however, didn’t show Truely any affection.
One viewer said on Twitter, “Robyn’s kids can go to school but they can’t hug Truly. And that’s all anyone needs to know about Robyn and Kody or why Christine is moving her child 400 miles away. Neglectful, lazy, vindictive parenting from the father and the head wife.”
