Tinsley Mortimer In Talks With Bravo To Join ‘RHONYC’ Legacy Cast
Former Real Housewives of New York star, Tinsley Mortimer, might be returning to Bravo on the spin-off series featuring longtime fan favorites!
Sources close to Bravo stated that the network is in talks with Tinsley to join their new series, Real Housewives of New York: Legacy, but they aren’t sure if she’s on board, yet. However, other sources said Mortimer wasn’t interested in returning to reality television as a housewife since she had already found peace and happiness for herself in Florida.
Tinsley was a housewife on The Real Housewives of New York City from seasons 9 to 12. She left the show to move to Chicago with her fiancé, Scott Kluth, but he later called off their engagement.
Despite earlier sources saying Tinsley isn’t interested in returning, insiders close to Bravo said they are in serious talks with the star to have her back. On Wednesday, one of Mortimer’s close confidants hinted that she might be open to joining the new Real Housewives of New York City if the terms of her new contract would be favorable.
They said, “Tinsley is happy right now leading a private life, but when the right opportunity comes to be back on TV, it will be considered.” That has a lot of fans thinking if Bravo offers Mortimer enough money to return, she would.
Bravo announced the all-new Real Housewives of New York City: Legacy, featuring most of the OG cast from the earlier seasons. As per Page Six, the shortlisted cast members include, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Jill Zarin, Dorinda Medley, Kelly Bensimon, and one or two others who have yet to be confirmed. An OG star who won’t be returning for the Legacy show is none other than Ramona Singer. Producers said they were open to inviting Ramona to the legacy show, but they quickly changed their minds after she began trash-talking the show in interviews.
When Singer appeared on Reality with the King podcast with host Carlos King, she didn’t have nice things to say about the spin-off series.
“But I also feel like the ‘Legacy’ [show], how could it be really good? The people they are gonna bring back are the people they didn’t want to renew anyways. So now what? Are you gonna call it ‘The Loser Show,’ the ‘Loser Legacy’?” Ramona said.
An insider claimed that Ramona’s comments weren’t the entire reason she wasn’t asked to return but they didn’t help her chances of getting a contract.
