Lisa Rinna Claims Trolls Threatened Her Dead Mother With Vile Messages
Lisa Rinna marked the first anniversary of her mother’s death earlier this week, but not before sharing a series of hateful messages she received from an online troll, who seemingly celebrated Lois Rinna’s passing.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a series of messages she received one day before the emotional anniversary, on her Instagram Story. Lois Rinna died during Season 12 filming season after suffering a stroke.
“The best part about this season was your mom dying,” the person wrote.
“Flashback to you fake crying about your dad ‘shhh’ you as a child. You’re a fake as your stupid wh-re mom. Go join her,” the disturbing message read.
The reality star noted in the screenshot’s caption—“And they say Twitter is a [cesspool].”
Rinna revealed in a separate message that while she reported the Instagram user, she wasn’t counting on any repercussions for the behavior.
“I just reported her to [Instagram] let’s see if they do anything about it. I’ve had a very difficult time getting them to do anything about anyone who has been harassing [and] threatening,” the actress told her fans.
Rinna also shared some upbeat memories of her late mom on her Monday Instagram Story. The posts included a video of Lois dancing and a sketch of her mother, drawn by her father. On Tuesday, Rinna shared a heartfelt video tribute set to Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.”
“We miss you, Lois,” a message within the clip read.

Rinna made headlines earlier this month after she fired a shot at Real Housewives of Beverly Hills producers before deactivating her Twitter account.
“I deactivated my Twitter account this morning. My choice,” she shared on October 31, responding to an Instagram fan page that asked “what happened” to her presence on the platform.
Rinna expressed disappointment in RHOBH producers for axing an image of her mother from reunion footage before her Twitter account went dark.
Queens of Bravo captured a screenshot of the since-deleted Twitter post, which featured a sketched image of Rinna’s mom, who passed away a year ago at the age of 93. Rinna alleged that the pic was scrapped because producers did not want her to receive any “form of sympathy.”
“I think this is the one thing on the reunion that I’m really sad that they didn’t show. I had brought this with me in my dressing room and had it there, and I’m so sorry they didn’t show it. You know I just don’t think they wanted to have me have any form of sympathy,” the Bravo star said.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 production is not expected to kick off until January 2023, amid speculation that a cast shakeup is imminent.
“Last time, it was very quick because we went into filming very quickly but we are not right now so everything is pushed,” Crystal Kung Minkoff explained during the November 2 episode of the Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino podcast. “It’s gonna be, I think, a few months.”
