Sister Wives: Christine Brown Breaks Down and Storms Out After Admitting Kody Chose A ‘Favorite’ Wife

 Christine Brown broke down and stormed out while filming after admitting her ex, Kody Brown, chose a favorite wife.

In the preview of Sunday’s episode, the Sister Wives star becomes overwhelmed with emotions while talking about Kody Brown’s preferential treatment of his fourth wife, Robyn Brown.

As reported, Christine, 50, will break the news to Kody, 53, and her former sister wives that she sold her house and is “leaving next week.”

In that same episode, Christine explains one of the reasons that led to the break up.

“I know I have tried for years to make this work,” she shared. “But I couldn’t stay married to someone who had favorites and made it very known. God!”

Saying those words out loud made Christine become sad and emotional.

After taking a deep breath, she cuts the interview short and she storms out, “that’s enough,” she says.

Christine and Kody, 53, were married for more than 25 years.

Christine and Kody’s relationship remained strained for several years, and they announced their separation on Instagram in November 2021. “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote in her statement.

The couple were married for 25 years and share six children — Paedon, 24, and daughters Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 19, and Truely, 12.

In an interview, Christine shared what ultimately led to her split from ex-husband, Kody.

“He broke my little girl’s heart,” she told People magazine.

Ysabel Brown dealt with chronic discomfort due to the sideways curvature of her spine, called scoliosis. The Brown family tried different methods of assisting Ysabel, including physical therapy and a brace that she wore underneath her clothes but nothing really worked.

The family decided on surgery but the specialist was located in New Jersey, forcing them to travel far from their Utah home during the height of the pandemic.

In August 2022, Christine explained to People magazine that Kody’s choice not to trsavel to Ysabel’s surgery was a “wake up call,” that made her realize it was time to leave him. “He broke my little girl’s heart,” she said of Kody’s choice, which viewers saw him make on season 16.

“I understood COVID, and why he couldn’t come, but she didn’t,” Christine reflected. “And she still has a really hard time with it.

“I really find it hard to stay with a guy who I don’t respect,” Christine added.
