‘Little People’ Matt Roloff’s Girlfriend Caryn Quits The Show After Emotional Breakdown!
Matt Roloff’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, has decided to quit the TLC reality show amid Matt’s feud with his children.
Little People, Big World Season 24 premiere teased a lot of drama for the Roloff family. In a confessional, Caryn opens up about how hard it has been being in the middle of Matt’s feud with his sons. Matt Roloff and his sons had a falling out over his decision to sell part of the family farm. Caryn, 54, said, “It’s no fun having this feud between us and Zach and Tori and not getting to see the kids. I’m just trying to be respectful and I’m here. I’m hoping that it’ll just … one day we’ll start to talk again, something will come up.”
While seated next to Matt, she said emotionally, “This whole thing has been very painful, still painful. I miss the kids every day.” She took a deep breath before saying shakily, “I just don’t have the tools to fix it.” A source told The Sun exclusively that Caryn had made the decision to leave the show. She had appeared on the show since earlier seasons when she was Matt and Amy’s farm manager. They said, “Matt really wants another season, but Caryn is completely done. She thinks there are too many disagreements with what they want to say and do on-air, and too much family drama. She feels as though she’s the one always caught in the middle trying to mediate.”
“Although she knows it probably makes for good ratings, she doesn’t want to be a part of it anymore,” the source added. Matt also told visitors at the Roloff farms that there has been no discussion about a new season. The Sun also revealed that Caryn’s move to leave the show comes after TLC announced the show is yet to be renewed for a 25th season. A trailer for the upcoming season revealed that Zach and Tori have no plans for Caryn to meet their newborn baby. The source explained why Caryn and Tori are not as close as they used to be.
“And the feud between the sons has been a lot. Caryn is ready to just have Matt hand the farm over and they can go to Arizona and retire. That would be her dream scenario, but whether Matt agrees is yet to be decided.”
Caryn said she used to like filming the show back in 2017 when she started dating Matt but not anymore. The source noted, “She’s letting Matt decide whether or not he wants to do another season. She is okay with whatever he decides. He respects her decision to quit, and they are talking things through together.”
