Denise Richards Calls Out Lisa Rinna for Being ‘Cruel’ to Her While She Starred on ‘RHOBH!’
Denise Richards is finally addressing Lisa Rinna’s nasty behavior towards her during her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
On October 20, Denise posted on Instagram about her former friend and co-star’s behavior during season 12 of the show. “I watched #RHOBH last night. While I have empathy for Lisa Rinna losing her mom, what is her excuse all the other years on the show for being so cruel & so vindictive?” Richards was referring to Wednesday’s episode of the three-part Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion where Rinna was confronted about her outbursts on her fellow housewive Sutton Stracke. Lisa apologized for her behavior while mourning her mother, Lois, who passed away in November 2021.
The Days of Our Lives actress said during the reunion that she could have behaved better after seeing a highlight reel of her outbursts on the Bravo show. Rinna also admitted that she should have taken time off to process her grief instead of filming with the other women. “When you’re in that deep of pain — I’ve done the best I can. I’m sorry for being crazy and a maniac and screaming and doing what I’ve done.” She continued, “I’m really just trying to walk through life.” Denise Richards left the show after season 10 but she was shocked when she wasn’t invited to BravoCon 2022.
On Friday, October 14, the former model tweeted, “I heard a few ex housewives were asked to be at #BravoCon @BravoTV @TheRealCamilleG. Wonder why we weren’t asked to be there? Fans didn’t want us?” Though Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans came out to clarify that they did want to see her at the New York City event. One person said, “Shame on Bravo for not extending an invite to two beloved housewives. You and Camille have legions of fans who would’ve been so excited to see you there and now disappointed to learn that Bravo just glossed over you both. Not cool!”
Rinna, however, did attend BravoCon this year but she wasn’t received well by fans. When she was announced to come on stage, the Rinna Beauty owner was booed by fans. Lisa responded to the hate while talking to Us Weekly and said she loved it when fans booed her. “Well, I’d never been booed before. I kind of thought it was the greatest thing ever. It’s like being a wrestler. I loved it.”
