Ramona Singer Reveals Eboni K. Williams Is Behind The Cancellation of ‘RHONY’ OG Cast!

Ramona Singer shut down claims made by former Real Housewives of New York City co-star, Eboni K. Williams, after the Season 13 rookie alleged that most of the cast members were “unwilling” to “negotiate a future” with her on the cast.

“What happened was, if you see the last episode, we really came together as a team, as a cast, and I really wish that happened earlier where Eboni finally loosened up,” Ramona said during a Wednesday appearance on Carlos King’s Reality with the King podcast.

The 65-year-old Bravo star explained that the group was “comfortable” with Eboni in the mix by the time Season 13 filming wrapped, in early 2021. However, the love fest proved to be short-lived.

“She likes to write things in the press, and the PR department couldn’t control her,” Ramona alleged.

“She would say things and give interviews that she shouldn’t have given, and she’d say things she shouldn’t have said that really were hurtful, not really truthful,” she added. “It was her viewpoint, but it made us feel not good because we’re a team.”

The RHONY OG claimed that Eboni made baseless and “hurtful” accusations to Bravo human resources, alleging that she was a “racist.”

“You can call me unfiltered, not polite, always in a rush. I forget people’s names, you know. Yes, I’m all of those. But one thing I’m not – I’m not a racist. The press picked that up and they had a field day,” Ramona said.

Ramona added that Eboni’s allegations led to Bravo canceling the Season 13 reunion. Executive producers, Andy Cohen and Lisa Shannon, denied Ramona’s claims during BravoCon 2022, reiterating that timing issues and scheduling conflicts were to blame.

“People were saying, ‘They’re not doing the reunion because Ramona refuses to do it.’ And I’m like, ‘No, this is my job, my position,’” Ramona said. “I always fulfill my position [and my] job, and I’m not afraid to do anything.”

Ramona shot down fan speculation that she was “afraid” to confront Eboni on the reunion stage, calling the chatter “not true at all.”

“Because of that, our show didn’t film in September,” Ramona revealed. “Andy told me himself – because we have a good relationship – he said, ‘Ramona, we normally don’t start doing the next season until after the reunion airs, but we’re going to start after we tape the reunion, and then we’re going to start filming.’”

The reality star added that the Season 13 cast, including Eboni, would have carried on into Season 14, but everything screeched to a halt due to what “went down” with the controversial newbie.

“I don’t think you can blame a person. I think you can just blame Bravo. Bravo made that decision. I don’t think it’s, I don’t think it’s a good decision, to tell you the truth,” Ramona said of Bravo’s move to reboot the show with a brand new cast.

Bravo announced in March that a planned “Legacy” spinoff series would star past season fan favorites.

“I think it’s ridiculous, but that’s my opinion, you know? I mean, Bravo, listen, Bravo’s been very good to me. I got paid very well. It opened up a lot of doors for me, but I still don’t think it was a good decision,” she added, slamming the “Legacy” spinoff as a “loser show.”

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York City will film this fall and premiere in 2023.
