Christine Brown Talks ‘Sister Wives’ Exit & Spin-Off Details!

Christine Brown might be starring in her own reality show soon if her latest interview is anything to go by.  

Christine, 50, told Entertainment Tonight that since her split from Kody Brown, 53, she has been living a happier life. Christine split from her husband in November last year after 25 years of marriage. She told Entertainment Tonight that she wouldn’t leave Sister Wives as long as it is still airing. “I made a promise to Kody and everybody else that I would stay in Sister Wives as long as we have the show just to be fair.” She continued, “It’s what our family’s been doing for so long. I feel like it would be disloyal if I decided to not be part of the show.”

The TLC star explained that as far as her role on Sister Wives goes, she will still be doing activities with Janelle. Christine also spoke about the possibility of doing a spin-off show while in Utah. “As far as a spin-off, dude, I’m totally open, no idea what it looks like, but absolutely, that’d be just fun as heck.” The mother of six also said that she is happy with the simple life. “I’m single now, right? So I kind of just decide what I want to do and then do it. It’s been just very, very simple. Everything is just a lot easier as far as just planning and day-to-day life.” Christine shares six children with her ex, Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26, Paedon, 24, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 19, and Truly, 12.  

The reality star also revealed that her relationship with sister wives Robyn and Meri is still strained. Christine said that she hasn’t really spoken to her former sister wives since leaving for Utah. When asked if she misses spending time with them, she said, “Not right now. I think that right now, what I’m really hoping to do is just to get a really good solid foundation on just being me.” Despite this, Christine’s relationship with Janelle Brown is better than ever.

The mother of six added, “She’s come to visit me several times. I have a guest room and she stays in the guest room, and her sister also lives about a half an hour from me.” Christine continued, “So she’ll see her, and then she loves seeing Aspyn and Mykelti and the baby and all of it. So we’ve gone on a couple of trips together, too.”
