Candiace Dillard Bassett Calls Out Gizelle Bryant Over SERIOUS Allegations About Chris!
Candiace Dillard is finally speaking out about Gizelle Bryant’s flirting with her husband, Chris Bassett.
While talking to Carlos King on his podcast, Reality With The King, on Wednesday, October 9, Dillard made it clear what she thinks of co-star, Gizelle Bryant. “Gizelle is very flirty with Chris and Chris flirts back with Gizelle and this happens in front of me. It has never given me pause or made me feel threatened in any kind of way because Chris does not want Gizelle’s 50-year-old puss.” The Real Housewives of Potomac star questioned why her husband would want Gizelle when he has her.
The “Deep Space” singer continued, “Why would he want that when he has this? … This is excess flirtatious energy coming from a woman who doesn’t have that at home. This is just something that she does. Gizelle has a history, and there is a reputation there, of her being fast.” Candiace did admit that Gizelle Bryant is a beautiful woman, but “A shell is a shell, OK? And shells often have funky insides.” In the season 7 trailer, Candiace, 35 opens up to her co-stars that she feels uncomfortable with Gizelle flirting with her husband. By the end of the clip, she tells Chris, 44, that Gizelle is “dead” to her.

In another interview, Dillard revealed that she didn’t like how her Real Housewives of Potomac stars handled the situation when she raised the issue with them during the upcoming season. “I was very honest and forthcoming about, like, how things made me feel. I just don’t like how it was handled from their perspective,” she said. Gizelle Bryant told Hollywood Life on October 4 that the lack of appreciation she got from Candiace during her confrontation with Monique Samuels made her reevaluate their friendship. “She didn’t appreciate it or care one way or the other. So as a friend of mine. I’m like, wait a minute. I was riding for you. And she couldn’t care less.”
Candiace responded to what her Bravo co-star said during the interview and said, “Let’s be honest. You are no one’s friend. You come collect a check and go home to those purple walls. The small part of me that DID want to believe wasn’t total garbage woke up when you decided to get creative with my husband.” Dillard claimed in another tweet that Gizelle is just looking for a storyline. “And don’t insult my intelligence with this bs victimization that you pulled out your hind parts at 5 o’clock today. It’s as believable as (absent) your storylines.”
