Jen Shah Doubles Down On Lisa Barlow Using The N-Word!
Jen Shah took to Twitter on Wednesday to expose one of her co-stars for calling one of her sons a racist slur.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star said, “I don’t want anyone looking after my kids that calls them the n-word.” Jen’s tweet comes after Lisa Barlow appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and spoke about Jen’s kids. The Vida Tequila owner said she would be open to staying in touch with Shah’s children if their mother were to go to jail. “I don’t know really know Jen’s kids but I think they’re doing great things.”
Despite Jen’s accusations, a source came forward to Page Six and denied that Lisa ever made such a racist slur. Jen Shah first made the accusations against her Bravo co-star last month during an Instagram Q & A. On her IG, Shah claimed the housewife said there are different types of black people. “Black people from Compton are different from Black people from Salt Lake City,” Lisa said according to Jen before Jen noted, “My husband is from Compton.” Jen also hinted that the housewife in question was also racist towards her when she compared her to the character, Moana, because of her Hawaiian and Tongan ancestry. Jen recalled Lisa saying, “OMG you look just like Moana from the Disney movie. Your people have the coolest hair; can I touch it?”
Shah, 48, also accused the unnamed housewife at the time of telling her not to open up about her mental health on the show because it would be used against her later. Jen also recalled Lisa saying, “Not to be racist or anything, but I like the big black one best!” It is not clear what Jen Shah’s future on the show will be after she changed her innocent plea to guilty in July. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star was charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and could serve up to 14 years in prison for her crimes. Jen shares two sons with Coach Shah, Shariff Jr. 28, and Omar, 19.
Jen Shah’s sentencing date is set for November 28, and she is also required by law to pay back over $9 million in restitution and a $6 million forfeiture according to Forbes. Her co-star, Heather Gay, said during an interview that despite Jen’s guilty plea, she would continue to support her friend throughout her trial. “I still ride hard for Jen Shah. I have supported her from day one,” Heather said. “And I feel like I need to support her even more now that she has admitted to these things, accepted accountability, and is facing sentencing.”
