RHOA’s Kenya Moore Claims Marc Daly Divorce Is ‘At A Standstill!’
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kenya Moore, revealed on Sunday that her divorce from Marc Daly hasn’t been finalized.
Part 2 of the RHOA reunion aired this past Sunday, and Kenya shared with viewers how excited she is to be back in the dating scene again. Moore, 51, was married for four years to Marc before she filed for divorce in May 2021 citing in the court documents that her marriage was irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation. When host Andy Cohen asked her about her situation, Kenya revealed that despite her dating, she is still not yet divorced. She said, “He’s not asking for anything at this point. It’s just at a standstill, so until we get a trial date or settle, it’s still going to continue to go on.” Kenya and Marc, 50, got married in June 2017 and welcomed their daughter, Brooklyn, in November of the following year.
The Kenya Moore Hair Care CEO did say that she is enjoying casually dating and going on dates with her friends. “I’m definitely doing some group dating and have people pursuing me, but nothing serious yet,” Moore said. She continued, “People are like flooding me with, ‘Hey, my friend wants to meet you,’ guys reaching out; I just have that energy right now. I’m taking everybody’s man right now.” Kenya Moore told Page Six in November 2021 that she feels liberated after filing for her divorce. “I felt lost in my marriage. I lost myself, I lost my voice, and I lost a lot of my confidence and self-esteem because of everything that was happening with the relationship.” At the time, Moore teased that she was ready for fans to see her living her “best divorce-free life” during season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
The former Miss USA also teased her ideal man, adding that he should be “funny, kind, sweet, thoughtful, protective and successful.” Moore revealed that she is working on having a healthy co-parenting relationship with her estranged husband, Marc, who lives in New York City. Kenya was granted primary custody of their daughter and permission to feature her on RHOA despite Marc’s objections. “It’s still a work in progress but I’m hopeful that we will be able to get to a point where it’s very smooth and [there’s] definitely no issues with it. We’re still working that roadmap out right now. But so far, so good.”
