‘RHOSLC’ Meredith Marks’ Son Brooks Blasted by Broadway Star for Live-Streaming During Concert!
Brooks Marks, the son of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks, was blasted by Broadway star, Jessica Vosk, after he was caught on a livestream during her concert, Sunday night.
“Really glad to hear your skincare routine but please don’t go full-voiced live while someone is performing for you. It’s kind of s–tty as the singer. Thx boo,” Vosk wrote over Brooks’ shared video recording.
The 23-year-old went live while Vosk, 38, was performing “Happy Days Are Here Again.”
Brooks chatted with his followers about a range of topics, including his skincare regimen. Some followers sounded off in the comment section, asking the Bravo personality to reveal his location.
“My skincare routine is Peter Thomas Roth and Amanda Caroline skincare, that’s all you need to know,” Brooks said, during his livestream.
Vosk reiterated her point in a later Instagram Story, writing—“Get off your phone tho.”
Brooks was hit with backlash over his behavior after popular Instagram account, @bravobybetches, posted a screenshot of Vosk’s Instagram Story. Instagram users began sounding off about the controversy in the comment section.
“Let me get this straight he was on live answering questions while sitting at a concert?! Wth?!” one user asked.
“It’s beyond rude to the performers and the audience. Living up to my name-if I was sitting near him I would have gotten an usher!” another chimed in.
One user labeled Brooks’ actions “rude and tacky,” while another ranted—“Those tickets have to be bought!! He’s so entitled and whines a lot. I’m surprised he didn’t blame the performers for performing during his Q&A.”
Last month, Brooks’ mom made headlines after she spoke out about her co-star, Jen Shah’s surprise guilty plea in her fraud case.
“Obviously I’m surprised. I think probably everybody’s surprised. I don’t think anyone was expecting that!” the Bravo star said during an appearance on the “No Filter with Zack Potter” podcast.
In July, Meredith and co-star, Heather Gay, traveled to New York City to support Jen, only days before she entered her guilty plea.
Meredith revealed that she hadn’t had much contact with Jen since their time in New York.
“We’ve texted a little, but I have not had any conversations with her,” she said. “I’ve been out of the country and she’s now been getting her oldest son settled at medical school and so I have not actually talked to her.”
Meredith defended her friendship with Jen, explaining that she believed in her innocence.
“Honestly, I had a post on my Instagram feed, a photo with me and Heather and Jen in it and there were a lot of really vicious comments, calling Jen a criminal and all these things,” she recalled.
She also revealed that she was against Jen’s return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Meredith said—“Whether you are guilty or not, it is so easy to say something that could be spun to incriminate you. And I just think it’s kind of scary. I mean, I think it’s really gutsy that she stayed on. I do. I don’t think I could under those circumstances.”
