Surfaced Video Reveals Tiffany Haddish Joking About ‘Hitting On’ a Child — Comedian Addresses Sex Abuse Allegations!
A past video of Tiffany Haddish joking about “hitting on” a child has been unearthed amid the sex abuse scandal that currently surrounds the actress/comedian and comedian, Aries Spears. The clip was snipped from her Def Comedy Jam 25 performance, which originally aired in 2017. The special is currently available to stream on Netflix.
Haddish made the controversial comment while speaking about a typical day in the office.
She said—“Hitting on your son when its bring your kids to work day. Like, ‘look at your son! He cute! You’re gonna be fine when you grow up little boy. You like grown ups?’”
The troubling throwback clip from Haddish’s standup routine was posted on Twitter Friday. The video is nearing half a million views.
The tweet’s caption reads—“I realized Tiffany Haddish was a little off a few years ago…”
A lawsuit accuses the “Girls Trip” actress and Spears of allegedly grooming and molesting a 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother by manipulating them to film explicit skits, according to a report by Factz Media. The lawsuit, which refers to the siblings as Jane and John Doe, was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The girl’s sketch, which was filmed in 2013, reportedly involved Haddish allegedly instructing the minor how to imitate fellatio on a sub sandwich.
“John” purportedly appeared in a skit that was filmed the following year. The project was called “Through A Pedophile’s Eyes,” and featured a character played by Spears who “leers at the child lustfully.”
The siblings are suing Haddish and Spears for damages, claiming that they suffered trauma and social disorders as a result of their experiences.
Haddish addressed the skits at the core of the sexual misconduct lawsuit in a social media statement, on Monday.
“I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you,” Haddish wrote on Instagram. “Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now.”
“But, clearly, while the sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all — and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it,” she continued. “I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”
Spears has yet to publicly address the controversy, but his attorney, Debra Opri, told Radar Online that “he isn’t going to fall for any shakedown.”
