Shereé Whitfield’s ‘She By Shereé’ Line Accused of Stealing Designs From Popular Clothing Line!
Shereé Whitfield finally launched her fashion line, She By Shereé, but fans are now accusing her of stealing designs.
During the season finale episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shereé finally launched her t-shirt and athleisure fashion line, She By Shereé. Despite all the setbacks she encountered while trying to launch her line throughout season 14, Shereé managed to pull off a successful event for her fitness gear. Shereé’s event comes 14 years after she tried to launch her line but failed because she didn’t have enough pieces to show. It’s the same event where Dwight Eubanks infamously dubbed it “a fashion show with no fashions.” Her fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta stars were in attendance to celebrate her achievement. Shereé’s ex, Tyrone, also went to her fashion event after standing her up weeks earlier.
After the Bravo star shared a few photos of her gear online, fans noticed the clothes were similar to pieces on other clothing websites. Fans slammed Shereé for selling a $130 gray two-piece set that looks nearly the same as a set sold on Amazon and Shein for lower prices. Viewers questioned Shereé on Twitter, “Ummm when you can buy it from Amazon without the She by Sheree logo for a third of the price, then I have a problem. #RHOA.”
Another fan said, “So after 10+ years of no fashion, you just put your name in a look alike Jeffree Star logo, printed it in a Ali Express/Shein garment and charged it 130$?!” A third Bravo fan said, “Gurl How dreadful! We were rooting for you smh. She by Sheree? More [like] She by Shein Express wtf?! You know what #RHOA.”
After going live on Sunday, Shereé claimed that her website crashed due to the large amount of traffic it received. She said, “Due to the overwhelming interest in She By Shereé, the influx of love is crashing the website.” The Real Housewives of Atlanta star assured fans and buyers that the situation is being worked on and they should check back in 24 hours.
“We are working to get this quickly resolved. We wish to serve you soon. Thanks for your interest.” As of Monday, the site was still down, however, Whitfield thanked everyone who was able to get a piece of She By Shereé by the end of the night.
