Tamra Judge Reveals ‘RHOC’ Co-Star Who was ‘Dancing On My Grave When I Got Fired!’
Tamra Judge spilled some inside tea about one of her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars, ahead of her return to the Bravo series, during a recent episode of her podcast, Two Ts In a Pod.
Tamra will be returning to the show for Season 17, after being axed from the cast at the conclusion of Season 14. The mom of four dished with podcast co-host, Teddi Mellencamp, about the one cast member who allegedly celebrated after she was fired.
Teddi and Tamra discussed the dynamic of Real Housewives cast members creating their own storylines, a maneuver that Teddi deemed unnecessary. Tamra agreed, stating—“that’s a really bad move.”
“I know one that’s on ‘OC’ who every year, it’s something different. Either it’s either a business that never pulls through or something that doesn’t make any sense,” Tamra said.
Tamra clarified that she was speaking about former co-star, Emily Simpson. Teddi jumped on board, alleging that the lawyer had been gushing over Tamra’s return to the show, in recent weeks.
“Emily is all of the sudden all up your — like so excited you’re coming back,” Teddi remarked.
Tamra then claimed that Emily was actually thrilled by her departure, after Season 14.
“Well, she was dancing on my grave when I got fired,” Tamra quipped, laughing.
Emily spoke out about Tamra’s role on the show during an appearance on Access Hollywood Nightcap, in 2021. She commented that Tamra should not return to the franchise and sounded off about remarks her co-star made in her own December 2020 interview. Tamra told Access Hollywood at the time that Emily should not return to the show, after Season 15.
“I think that someone should send a wellness check to her house. I don’t know. I don’t think she’s okay,” Emily snarked to the outlet.
Tamra weighed in on Emily’s reunion game in April 2022, amid the airing of the RHOC Season 16 reunion series.
“Shut up, shut up, that’s all I could say the entire time. She wouldn’t let anybody speak and then when she did butt in and somebody goes ‘I’m talking,’ [she says] ‘well can’t I have an opinion!’ She’s a very angry girl, very, very angry,” Tamra said.
Tamra also pointed out that she previously had lots of positive things to say about Emily, during her April appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
“I went on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ and said she was a breakout star and now I completely take it back like everything is so forced,” Tamra explained. “And at the very beginning she came in hot and I thought oh this is great, she’s going to stir some s***, she’s going to speak her mind, because she never did that in the past, but now it’s like you are just talking to hear yourself talk, sit down.”
Tamra confirmed reports of her upcoming RHOC return during a July appearance on the Bravo chat show. She explained that she had gained a “totally different perspective” after sitting out for two years.
“I think being off for two years is probably the best thing you could have ever done to me even though I didn’t like it because I was on the show for 12 years and I feel like once you are on it for that long, you become a professional ‘Housewife’ and then once you’re off of it, you are like oh, ow. I did that?” Tamra told host, Andy Cohen.
