Jenelle Evans Calls Her Mother ‘Toxic’ & Plans To Sue Her!
Teen Mom 2 alum, Jenelle Evans, blasted her mother, Barbara Evans, as “toxic” in a new social media post.
The former MTV mom was seemingly offering a response to a clip where Barbara was heard encouraging Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant cast members to learn from her daughter’s mistakes. She seemingly advised the young women to keep their egos in check and to invest their MTV paychecks wisely.
Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported that Barbara and Farrah Abraham’s mother, Debra Danielsen, were both invited by MTV to film Teen Mom: Girls’ Night In with the cast of Young & Pregnant.
Barbara offered advice to Kayla Sessler while the MTV mom was on an Instagram Livestream.
Barbara is heard commenting — “…make sure — listen to me, I’m gonna give you advice — do not get sucked into this fame and do not, no seriously, do not blow your money. Do not get sucked into fame, because it will ruin your life.”
She continued—“…even Jenelle, she spent so much money buying cars, boats, everything for her boyfriends, what are you f****** NUTS? Ya know, taking trips. I like, took my money and invested it.”
Jenelle took to TikTok to issue a response to her mother’s bluntly delivered advice. She posted a video, which she also shared on her Instagram account, captioned—“And i just keep my mouth shut 😞 I have been the happiest ive ever been in my life. It sucks when none of your accomplishments are acknowledged.. especially by your own mom 💔 #ToxicParents.”
The 30-year-old ex-reality star filmed herself sitting outside drinking a cup of coffee as she shared a stream of questions submitted by fans and followers.

One follower asked—“Why is your mom doing this?”
Jenelle appeared to ponder how to respond to the questions at the end of the footage. The video raked in 2 million views on TikTok. The mom of three reportedly wrote in the comment section that she had a “pending case at the moment” against her mother.
Teen Mom fans know that Jenelle and Barbara have shared a contentious relationship for years. Barbara took over legal custody of Jenelle’s eldest child, Jace, 13, when he was a baby. Jenelle has vowed to win back custody of her son ever since. Jenelle shares an 8-year-old son, Kaiser, with ex, Nathan Griffith, and a daughter, Ensley, 5, with husband, David Eason.
Lots of fans supported Jenelle during the social media drama, including Roxanne DeJesus, the mother of “Teen Mom” star, Briana DeJesus. DeJesus dropped a heart emoji as a sign of support.
MTV recently opted to cancel both Teen Mom and Teen Mom OG, amid a plan to merge both shows into a series called— The Next Chapter. The premiere date has not been announced.
