Wendy Williams Appears High In Shocking Viral Video!
Wendy Williams fans expressed concern after a jarring video of the former chat show host went viral. TikTok user @djinkies shared a 14-second video of the 58-year-old on Sunday, after sharing a brief exchange with the former host of The Wendy Williams Show, on the street.
Wendy, who was being driven around the city at the time, showed off a flashy ring on her left hand, in the footage.
“What you got to say for the camera?” the fan asked, to which Wendy replied, “Uh, he’s out buying … getting stuff. I’m st- waiting for him to come back.”

The identity of Wendy’s companion was not revealed, but the former talk show queen reportedly appeared clumsy with her words and wide-eyed during the short exchange. Fans offered messages of support for Wendy, as the video circulated online.
“Poor wendy we miss you,” one wrote. “I hope she can get better.”
“Respect for putting the camera down when you felt what was up,” another user told the person recording the footage.
In February, The Wendy Williams Show announced that the show would end at the conclusion of Season 13. Wendy lost her purple chair after being absent since the beginning of the season, amid multiple health issues. She battled addiction, Graves’ disease, and a rumored mental breakdown.
The final episode of the popular chat series, which was filmed without the star of the show, aired in June. The show announced that they were disposing of Wendy’s purple chair and other studio memorabilia to make space for their new series. All About The Tea reported that Wendy returned to the studio to rescue her wigs and the purple chair. Wendy’s new manager, Will Selby, confirmed that they picked up all of the host’s belongings before they were sold on eBay.
“There were some things I felt were iconic,” Selby told The Sun, at the time. “That was hers and it signifies the old chapter closing as we start the new one.”
Wendy’s ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, later ripped Debmar-Mercury, the production company behind “The Wendy Williams Show,” for not being aware of “how severe her health was.”
Hunter addressed his ex’s personal issues, claiming that she needed more time to cope after learning that he had fathered a child outside their marriage. Hunter and Wendy share a 21-year-old son, Kevin Hunter Jr. Hunter and Sharina Hudson welcomed a daughter, in March 2019.
“I feel like it is a travesty on the part of Debmar-Mercury to have such an unceremonious departure without Wendy being involved,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
“It is the first time in the history of talk shows for this to be done, especially for a show that has been on for more than 10 years,” he added about his ex’s time in the spotlight. “There is absolutely no reason why a bigger celebration that involved Wendy couldn’t happen.”
