‘Southern Charm’ Star Venita Aspen LIED About Making 7 Figures A Month On Instagram!

Southern Charm star, Venita Aspen, regrets lying about how much money she makes on Instagram! 

The Southern Charm star had a few things to clarify to fans about how much money she makes online. During the June 30 episode of the Bravo show, the model said that she could bring in up to $1 million dollars if she got the right deals for her brand. “It’s wild how much money you can make as an influencer,” she said. “I don’t think people understand the hard work that goes into the backend of being an influencer.”

Aspen told Page Six that her comment on the show was taken out of context. She also added that her words “are kicking her in the ass right now” because of fans questioning how she’s able to make so much money. Most of them don’t understand her earnings when the Bravo newbie only has 85,000 followers on Instagram. One fan said about the Bravo star, “I like Venita but she doesn’t even have 100k followers on Instagram and says she makes all this money as an influencer it doesn’t add up to me #SouthernCharm.” Another fan added, “Shewww I knew venita was a pretty big influencer but 7figures [sic] in a month. I’m in the wrong line of work #SouthernCharm.”

Despite what Venita said, she told the news outlet, “I could make seven figures a year on Instagram, which is still pretty wild.” Aspen also said that despite the questions about her earnings, she is getting a lot of support from her fans after joining reality television. “I’ve had a lot more people come out of the woodwork being like, ‘I’ve been following you for the last seven years, and it’s so cool to see your growth and now see that you’re on TV,’ and, like, kind of really setting the standard for a lot of people, which is wild.”

Aspen first appeared on Southern Charm as a “friend of” in 2020 before becoming a full-time cast member recently. Venita has worked as a model for huge brands like Target, Anthropologie, Old Navy, and Le Creuset. According to Slice, Venita Aspen is worth approximately $500,000 as of 2022. Venita now works as a full-time model & influencer and told her followers the secret to her success in the industry is “staying consistent.” Venita advised her followers to “pick brands that you actually like to use, and make sure you’re using them daily, posting about it, talking about it, and making it as authentic as you can.”
