Peter Thomas Says Cynthia Bailey Was Jealous of His Spotlight On ‘RHOA’
Cynthia Bailey’s ex husband, Peter Thomas is calling out Phaedra Parks and exposing secrets about his former marriage to Cynthia Bailey in a new interview.
Peter Thomas, 61, appeared on Reality with the King podcast this week to spill tea about former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars, NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks. Peter told host, Carlos King, that he never really liked Phaedra.
During the podcast interview, Carlos asked Peter about his first meeting with Apollo and why it hadn’t gone so well, which prompted him to reveal some more details about his former cast mate. “And Apollo and I, the first time we met, we was gonna fight because you know his wife was upset I did an interview with Uptown Magazine and they asked me what I think about the girls. I was just being honest. And she was offended maybe cause I didn’t like her from day one. Never did.”
When Carlos asked Peter why he didn’t like the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum from day one, he answered, “I think she is the type of person to throw a stone and hide her hands. I was like this chick is messy as h*ll ’cause she would throw the rock, hide her hands and then go push Porsha to do her dirty work. That sh*t’s crazy.”
Phaedra wasn’t the only housewife Peter Thomas spoke about during his interview. He also alleged that his ex Cynthia Bailey would get mad at him for stealing the spotlight on the Bravo reality series.
Peter says he didn’t understand why his air time on the show upset his then wife so much. He also said that Nene Leakes would call Cynthia all the time about what he was doing on the show. “I think NeNe used to probably talk to Cynthia that much to tell her to check me, ‘Tell Peter to sit down. Stand down.’ I’m like why? Now people wanna watch this sh*t. It happened quick and a lot of them didn’t know how to deal with it.”
Peter however had good things to say about Kenya Moore, he added that she was the smartest woman on Real Housewives of Atlanta because she understands being on the show is just a job.
Peter Thomas and Cynthia Bailey wed in 2010, called it quits in the summer of 2016 after six years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in 2017 and the former model continued to document her life, including her return to dating and subsequent marriage to Mike Hill in October 2020.
