Fired ‘Black Ink Crew’ Star Ceaser Emanuel Under Investigation By Police & Animal Control After Dog Abuse Video!
Black Ink Crew star, Ceaser Emanuel, has been questioned by Fulton County Animal Services and local police after coming under suspicion for allegedly abusing dogs. The investigation was launched after a troubling video clip, captured on a Ring doorbell security system, revealed the VH1 star kicking and hitting his dog with a folding chair.
Ceaser’s rep confirmed to TMZ that the tattoo artist was “questioned” by local authorities. Ceaser claimed that his “crazy” behavior was actually an attempt to break up a fight between his dogs. Ceaser’s rep said that police found that his animals were “safe, healthy and show no signs of abuse.”
“Although his actions were not appropriate at all, [Ceasar] is sincerely apologetic and feels extremely bad. He is dealing with death threats which is causing him fear and depression,” the spokesperson told the outlet.
He added—“His only goal was to build an empire to help build jobs and bring the Black community in the tattoo industry successful given that the community is limited there.”
Ceaser spoke to TMZ about the incident and said that his behavior was a “moment in time” he wished he “could take back.” He explained that upon returning home, he saw his dogs “attacking each other.”
“I don’t mean like the regular just play fighting, I mean, they was going for each other’s necks, basically trying to kill each other,” the VH1 star said.
Ceaser said that he was “nervous” and “scared” amid an effort to “back the dog down.”
“Not one time was I trying to abuse this dog,” he stated. “All I was trying to do was getting him back in the cage.”
Ceaser revealed that he gave one of the dogs to a friend and confirmed that he knew his action “was a mistake.”
VH1 announced on Thursday that they were cutting ties with the reality star.
“We have made the decision to cut ties with Ceaser Emanuel from Black Ink Crew New York. Since next season was close to finishing production, this decision will not impact the upcoming season,” the network told TMZ.
The reality show is currently filming for Season 10.
Network insiders said that the situation will be addressed on the show, which is currently in the final stages of production.
Producers were reportedly “appalled” by the footage, according to a snitch.
Former Black Ink Crew star, Donna Lombardi, sounded off about the incident and demanded that her former boss be cut from the series. Fans also expressed outrage over the disturbing video.
Lombardi wrote on Wednesday—“If you can treat a dog like this, it shows how sick of a person you truly are. I don’t even get into the life of this man, but this video made me so upset. Anyone who knows me, know I LOVE animals. Especially dogs.”
