Lisa Rinna Accused Of Doxxing Man Who Threatened To Expose Her!
Lisa Rinna has come under fire for doxxing a man who sent her a threatening text!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star posted a screenshot of text messages from a person who was threatening her. Lisa posted the unknown phone number that reached out to her on Sunday with threats. The text read, “Lisa, you need to stop with your rumors and lies about me. There’s plenty I can expose about you.”
In the messages, Rinna encouraged the man to go ahead and expose her. “You exposed yourself,” she replied in a caption. “Hey expose away can’t wait to see what you’ve got.” After the Bravo star’s posts went viral, Lisa got a lot of backlash for exposing the stranger’s number to her fans. The RHOBH star has more than 3 million followers who are known to go after their favorite’s enemies.
Fans accused Lisa of “doxxing” the stranger and slammed her for doing that. One fan wrote on Twitter, “Is it illegal to publish someone’s number like that? Some form of doxxing?” Another person wrote, “I can’t believe she posted the phone number. Unbelievable.” Lisa came forward and accused Kathy Hilton’s assistant of being the one behind the threatening texts. However, Patrick Somers came forward and admitted to being the one who sent the messages.
Patrick addressed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star in a since-deleted post. He tagged Lisa saying, “Why are you starting drama with someone that is half your age you overfilled ancient dinosaur. Anyways here’s Lisa’s number since she posted mine.” Patrick explained how the beef with Lisa began. He wrote on his Instagram Stories, “Mind you this is decades Production has started a series called ‘Real Husbands of Sunset’ that is set to compete with real housewives and features an all male cast… (me being a member).”
He continued, “We met Lisa to get some pointers for our first season and drama started from the beginning.” Despite the backlash Lisa continued to receive for leaking Patrick’s number to the public, she was unfazed. Lisa posted, “What a bonus getting to talk to so many nice people today since that guy posted my number thanks so much!!! Love you guys so much!!! #Silverlining.”
Patrick responded to Lisa on his Instagram Stories while commenting on a post about his drama. He wrote, “I honestly don’t like drama but imagine an unhinged 70 year old woman starting drama with you because you privately tried to check her.”
