Luis “Louie” Ruelas was hit by rumors about his past throughout the recently concluded season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Teresa Giudice’s then-boyfriend finally addressed the allegations while on the reunion stage.

Host, Andy Cohen, asked Louie point-blank about allegations made public by his exes, during Tuesday night’s reunion episode.

“A lot of women that you’ve dated who have unkind things to say about you,” Andy said. “There’s road rage incidents, you demand sex all the time, emotionally abusive, slashed a girlfriend’s tire, your family doesn’t like you, physical abuse in front of kids…is any of it true?”

“We were basically in toxic relationships,” Louie responded. “When you’re in toxic relationships, it felt emotionally abusive to me, but I’m not gonna label it that way.”

Andy got specific and asked Louie if he really demands sex “four times a day.” Louie denied the accusation, noting that he couldn’t have that much sex. The Bravo host also asked if he had a record of domestic violence.

“Two incidents have come up recently, and those were arguments with my wife over my children when we were getting divorced,” Louie responded.

He added that he “basically had arguments with his wife, she walks into the house and calls the police. That’s the extent of it.”

Louie and Teresa both responded “no” when Andy asked Louie straight out if he ever “hit” his ex.

Several RHONJ cast members expressed concern about Louie’s past romantic relationships, as Season 12 unfolded. Fans know that Margaret Josephs was particularly outspoken, which damaged her friendship with Teresa.

Teresa addressed the drama during a recent appearance on Dina Cantin’s podcast, “Dina Does.” The Bravo star blamed Margaret for pushing her past her limits.

Margaret, how she always claims she’s so smart, you know. She knew exactly what she was doing,” Teresa told Dina, during their podcast chat. “It’s like, ‘Stop poking me’… She’s coming across like she’s so concerned, you know. Like, okay, if you are so concerned, then tell me in a nice way. If she was a real friend, she would call me off camera and explained it to me in a way that would make me understand.”

However, Louie revealed that he holds no hard feelings against Margaret, despite her ongoing tension with Teresa.

“I completely agree with everything you’re saying,” Louie told Margaret during the reunion. “When you tie and connect the dots of the story, it makes a lot of sense.”

Teresa chimed in—”He’s very forgiving. Me, not so much.”

Louie described his first season on the Bravo show as “horrible.”

“I just felt really judged without having a chance to give my own story,” he said, calling the experience “really painful.”

“It’s not fair for people to leave relationships and do that to somebody else because I’m on a platform with Teresa,” Louie remarked, seemingly referring to his exes. “Was I a perfect human being? Absolutely not.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on hiatus.
