SHE’s BACK…..Dorinda Medley Will Return To ‘RHONY’ After She Fixes Her ‘Issues’
Bravo bigwig, Andy Cohen, has confirmed that he’d be open to the return of fired Real Housewives of New York City star, Dorinda Medley.
The executive producer spoke out about the surprise dismissal on Radio Andy, his SiriusXM radio show.
Andy Cohen, 55, labeled the boozy reality star “iconic,” and after declaring his love for Dorinda Medley, added that even she would agree that Season 12 wasn’t “a great season” for her. He admitted that he didn’t like Dorinda’s vicious comment aimed at Tinsley Mortimer — the Bravo vet cackling that her co-star should use a turkey baster to get pregnant — but denied it to be the reason behind her exit.
“She said something at the reunion that struck us all, which was that she should’ve taken the year off this year,” Cohen said. “She was in a bad place.”
“Her house had been flooded, her dad was sick. We lost Bethenny right as filming began and we lost Tinsley halfway through the season, so maybe Dorinda didn’t feel like she could take the year off,” the Watch What Happens Live host added.
Andy Cohen confirmed that he’d be glad to welcome Dorinda Medley back to the show once she’s been “renewed and refreshed.”
“I am really hopeful that this is indeed a pause, and that she will rejoin the show at some point. I have said that to her a couple of times, and by the way, I do not say that too often,” Cohen quipped.
