The Next Gen NYC star, 23, announced on Instagram that she and her longtime boyfriend — whom she began dating in high school — have called it quits after nearly 10 years together. Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Ariana wrote on her Instagram Story Tuesday, Oct. 14. “While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years.”

She added, “Sometimes life takes you in different directions and that’s okay <3 love you all.” Hudson later reposted her message, confirming the breakup.

The couple first went public in 2018 after attending their high school homecoming together, though Ariana revealed on Next Gen NYC that their relationship actually began earlier and had its ups and downs. The pair briefly split before reconciling in 2022.

Over the years, the two often shared their affection for one another online. In October 2023, Ariana gushed over Hudson after he surprised her with her dream car, a BMW. She called him her “soulmate,” writing, “There are no words to explain how thankful I am for you. I have never enjoyed every second with someone like I do with you. You truly are my absolute best friend. The love we have is so pure.”

Sharing photos of the couple sitting inside the new car, Ariana added, “You are UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! I have no words to explain how thankful I am. I still don’t believe this is real. My freaking DREAM car!!! Thank you baby for going above and beyond for me ALWAYS. I love you.”

Hudson shared a similarly heartfelt post a year earlier, listing “21 reasons” he loved Ariana, including “the way [she finds] joy in the little things” and how she makes him “happier than [he’s] ever been.” The pair relocated to New York City together in July 2024 — a move they documented on Bravo’s Next Gen NYC, which follows the children of famous Bravo stars as they navigate life in the city.

Their relationship later made headlines after both were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Ariana eventually pleaded guilty to reckless driving and possession of drug-related objects in 2025, per court records.

Despite the challenges, Ariana continued to express love and support for her partner earlier this year. In April 2025, she commented on Hudson McLeroy’s post promoting their Bravo series, writing, “I’m so happy we got to do this together, I love you.”

Hudson responded with his own message of appreciation: “I always knew we’d be here together. I used to dream of days like these when we first met. I love you @arianabiermann.”
